If meath had any grace at all they would offer a replay, he carried the ball into the goal and then threw it, simple as that. I would count on them giving a replay though they know they should . If not then they will end up like thierry henry and Materazzi, winners on the day but tainted everafter.
What did Colm ORourke say about it? he is usually impartial.

O'Rourke ran to the hills and hid behind the fence. Was not going to say anythng about his home county and rightly so. Would you?

Some Louth fans would really want to get a grip.  ::)

Surely.  They are looking at it through the wrong prism. I believe you used to play a bit of rugby, Jinxy. What did you think of Joe Sheridan's try?

Jinxy

You'd want to get a grip as well.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

seafoid

If you were any use you'd be playing - or would it be replaying ?

Sure isn't it a grand way to pass the time? The word cup's passing has left a huge gaping hole in the afternoons.

Farrandeelin

'What if it was the other way around?' or something to that effect was what O'Rourke said. Simple fact Mr. O'Rourke, it wasn't the other way around, GEDDIT?

I don't agree with a replay.  Louth won the match by 1-10 to 0-12.  They should be awarded the game by the Leinster Council.

Like everyone else I feel for Louth.

It shouldn't be up to Meath to offer a replay and thier hand shouldn't be forced by the media and others.

It's getting a bit much at this stage and I hope Meath just come out tonight and say they are hanging on to the cup.

It's to the GAA and or the CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC to do something at this stage not the Meath team or the Meath County board.

p.s It's a load of shite that thier are no rules allowing a replay.... the GAA should just make a rule in this instance.

p.p.s. If the same thing happened in reverse, i.e. Louth were in Meaths situation would Louth be offering Meath a replay?
They get momentum, they go mad, here they go

You'd have to imagine not.

What a load of codswallop these cries for a replay are,it's tough on Louth but the games over,Meath won!Time for Louth to regroup and get ready for the qualifiers!

If some of the louth fans didn't lash out at everyone in sight then the GAA might have been more sympathetic with them. They wont reward such behaviour therefore a replay is not going to happen. Louth are going into the qualifiers with a fine minimum and Meath are going into the last 8. If it was an Ulster team there would be none of these calls for a replay  :-\
