Hi Lads ,

Looks like I'm going to be stuck in Belfast for the Dublin Meath match. With Engerland and Germany on at the same time , finding a pub to watch the game is going to be a bit trickier than normal. Can anyone recommend a place where the game will definitely be on ??
I once heard mentioned a club in Andersonstown that will show matches but thats about as much as I know!
Thanks in advance..

The Hatfield on the Ormeau Road would normally show the games and as they have a couple of different Sky boxes I think they could show both England v Germany and Dublin v Meath.  If it's not on, the staff are generally helpful and will stick it on a smaller telly for you if you ask.

Parador on the Ormeau Road - I'd say they'll have both as well.

What area of Belfast will you be located in?  Makes it easier to find you a spot close by to watch the match.
Beer, now there's a temporary solution!!!

This is your spot, I'd be confident they will have both, and its good for matches

Cheers folks for the info. Staying in the City Centre btw.
Don't really have any interest in watching the soccer ( sick of the WC to be honest ) , would prefer to go to gaa pub if at all possible!
Told theres a pub on the Donegal road that would fit the description, apparently its done up especially to look more 'irish' than the rest of them..that make any sense??
Failing that I'll head down the Ormeau road to the Parador or the Hatfield.

Slightly poor description maybe but I think what I'm trying to say from the look of the place is that its obvious that the place would show gaa. How I don't know, hence my asking. Something thats perfectly reasonable to assume given that some bars in the city wouldn't for obvious reasons.

NOwhere on the Donegall Road will be showing GAA sports so please don't go down there and ask.  You'd realise by the nice new flags up for the the twelfth.  Unless it's the other side of the motorway which I doubt.

This is the place your 'mate' was referring to i'd say.

Don't Panic

Dont ask anywhere that hasnt been mentioned....

Just thinking though, dublin meath clashes with monaghan fermanagh, and thats more likely to be shown in any place in belfast that is showing gaa
