After being put out of the championship by Tipperary today I can't wait to see what Mick will have to say in this weeks Leinster Express!

" Laois ? You can't drink pints of Guinness and talk sh*te in a pub, and play football the next day"

Seems that way allright, I'd say he won't be there by the time I am taking the top off the boiled egg in the morning.

"Where do Laois go from here? They play Tipperary next Sunday and they will probably win this one as Tipp have a lot of guys gone across to the States for the summer. The only way, however, to get up there with the big boys is to compete at league level. The league and championship have been the very same - up and down and no consistency. That has to change.

As a county player you can do all the right things - train hard, go off the booze and eat correctly. But all of that is modern day bullshit that has come into our game. "

Not in the Mayo space-time continuum it hasn't.
