Help me please.

I'm trying to establish if the six counties is as british as Finchley in Landan. I'm not doing too well though.

We have townlands – they don't
We have Irish names (e.g. Ballymena, Belfast) – they don't
We have gaelic sports – they don't
We have the Irish Hare – they don't
We don't have snakes – they do
We have tribal sectarian politics – they don't
We have the Angelus – they don't
We acknowledge drivers coming from the opposite direction – they don't
We enjoy the craic – they enjoy crack
We have RTE, Network2, TV3 and TG4 – they don't
We have our own local devolved government – they don't
We have huge families – they don't
We have Julian Simmons – they have a real queen

Can you add any others?

dont know much about finchley
but have seen bits of the tv programme shameless - which reminds me of large swathes of the six counties - mostly up the east coast and armagh

therefore the six counties are def as british as shameless !
