Speaking of how they're viewed by many nationalists I recall the first Tyrone and Derry game after Pat Doherty beat the SDLP "heavyweight" brid rodgers in west Tyrone. The Derry fans began their chant of "there's no sam maguire in Tyrone" to which the Tyrone fans around the area started singing "there's no SDLP in Tyrone!"

The normal reply from the 'informed' terrace chants is "there's no London in Tyrone" is it not?
But it's good that you can conclude on the state of politics - and the view of "many nationalists" - on the basis of a chant by a group of football supporters.
