Have the Sun started a "Lets get Becks fit for the World Cup" campaign yet ?
"When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us"

Dunno what all the whining's about, I doubt if Capello would have started him in WC anyway ... a player five years past his sell by date and only wheeled out to shift tickets for slow-selling friendlies at Wembley ... though we will miss his on the pitch bawling when England inevitably crash out on penalites

Wait for a few weeks and it will be revealed that his injury isn't as bad as first seemed and he will actually be fit in time for the WC.

He is an attention seeker and this is a PR stunt.
They get momentum, they go mad, here they go

People don't like to see a superstar publicise themselves thesedays and I understand that, but when it came to a battle in his sporting career beckham fronted up to anything that was thrown at him. His season after WC 98 was awesome, standing up to a Galaxy fan, getting back in the England fold, his form in his last season in Madrid. You cant help to feel sorry for the man no matter how many millions he has in the bank.

Bollocks. Absolute bollocks. Magnifies the warped sense of pity people have on this planet. Beckham has a gazillion times more (money/opportunities) than many could dream of in sizeable parts we oft hear about. Grab a bit of perspective ffs.

How is my pity warped, it's my pity not yours, are you f**king god or something. Just because a millionaire lucks out dosent mean you cant feel sorry for them, I think the green monster within yourself O'Neill magnifies the warped sense of 'us and them' in modern times 8)

If the injury is as bad as reported I think we have seen the last of him playing football.

spot on.
Which one of you bitches wants to dance?

Family guy

What about poor la galaxy paying the man millions, and he gets injured playing for another team and out for 6 months now

deiseach

With the injuries suffered by two players who have wrapped their reputations in the flag of St St George, the gods of irony are surely setting England up for victory. Rooney playing like a god of soccer helps too, the horrible Bluenose bastard
