Anyone know when the second episode is on? A very good show, he is a hardy bucko.

Good show indeed - shame they crammed in so much into one programme - all the way from Alaska to the Mexican border in 50 mins - i'm sure there was a load more interesting footage not shown.

Episode 2

30 Mar 2010 23:05–23:55
BBC One (Northern Ireland only)
Central America
Mark makes his way through Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Panama.

Yeah they took the piss by fitting that journey into 50 mins, and as for doing Mexico,Guat,Honduras,El Salvador and Panama in another 50 mins the mind boggles, however tv dictates i'm sure, 50 mins would not even do Mexico justice let alone Guatemala,Honduras and the rest, having been there i can tell you they are massive massive countries, took an internal flight in Guatemala and despite being in the air for an hour covered just about under half the country. I actually met a guy in Mexico who was motorbiking from Alaska to Tierra del Fieugo, to go from Alaska to Tiajuana took him 5 weeks, so some liberal editing to fit that into 50 mins.

Its a good show along the lines of yer man that got made redundant from Shortts and went round the world with his cam corder, can't think of his name.

It was a deadly show.

The hills up around Alaska were unreal.

It's a pity it's so condensed.

Class show, would love to do something like what your man is doing. This is a good book about a fella who is doing something similar http://www.amazon.co.uk/Giant-Steps-Karl-Bushby/dp/0316729582
