Why have you a short cut to 'Show Desktop' on the desktop?

I havent had a wallpaper for many years - i think it wastes precious milliseconds of my time loading.

I had created the shortcut on the desktop to the desktop so that I could drag it into the shortcuts box beside the Start button. (There's always a reason for everything and stupid people like me do things like that to save me time doing it the proper way).
