That is disgusting... a lad picking his nose in public!

I see my old mate Harry Fay in there trying to restore peace. I admire his courage going in among that lot

Lets see now a scummer from the markets kicking one of the Feeneys? FFS This could threaten the ceasefires never mind the Irish Cup!

I recall Ian Og Paisley called for the police to investigate the mellee in Omagh between Tyrone and Dublin a few years ago and it was nothing compared to this. Over to you Ian...

Not in any way surprised by the row. You can, as they say, take the boy out of Corrigan.

IFA punish Newry City and Larne after Irish Cup brawl

The IFA Disciplinary Committee has handed out punishments to Larne and Newry City following the abandonment of their JJB Irish Cup tie on 16 January.

Larne were fined £1,200, with Anthony Lagan banned until 31 May and Robert White and Brian Neeson both suspended for two games and fined £75 each.

Inver Park manager Paul Millar was handed a four-game ban.

Newry City were fined £800 and had Cullen Feeney banned for two games and fined £75.

Lagan's ban will rule him out of action for the remainder of the season.

The match was halted 10 minutes from time after a brawl involving players and coaches from both clubs.

An IFA Commission has been set up to investigate which team, if any, should take their place in the sixth round.

"Both clubs have been warned regarding their future conduct. The incidents have been considered both extremely serious and totally unacceptable which led to the abandonment of the match," said an IFA statement.

The two clubs have a right of appeal to the IFA Appeals Board

They tell me the unnamed individual in the orange bib escaped without a ban. Incredible.

They also tell me one of the boys involved in the ruck (not the unnamed individual in the orange bib) has been suspended from his club in a different sport for inserting his finger into an opponent.

Too much even for the Whiterock Road.
