Don't remember that about GG being banned from the second game. But I'm sure I remember him being sent off in the third game and the three of them missing from the final or else I'm losing it.

Had the Leinster final been played on Sunday the 17th instead of the Saturday, Geraghty would have been eligible.
Larry Carroll would have cleaned him out though, so he was better off in the stand!

Larry Carroll was clearly head and shoulders the best full back by a country mile in 1997. His omission by the all-stars was nothing short of a farce which brought the all-stars into a disrepute it has never recovered from
