Do any posters have experience of drawing up a child protection policy for an underage training programme? Ive done the child protection certificate and that but with the evolving nature of political coorrectness is there any new fangled issues I need to plan for?

The best thing to do is to look around other clubs websites to see what they have and pick what suits your club. The GAA have just published new policies- Code Of best practice and code of behaviour, if you contact county board they should get the booklets for you or they could be on pdf on gaa.ie

Our club drew up a code of conduct for underage players, helpers, parents etc...  It was very well received, if that's the sort of thing you are interested in PM your email address and I'll forward what I have.
