Can Derry become the fourth team to inflict an Ulster Championship defeat on Armagh in 10 years?
Only time will tell.

Good draw, havent had a night out in Derry City in years, looking forward to this one
Were you there for the battle of the bogside?  What year was that - mid 90's?  Remeber I couldn't go that day for some reason and the stories I heard about the rows were deadly - Oul dolls coming out of houses with frying pans etc.. Mate of mine got hit with a plank of wood in the bake.  Few taxis full of shinners had to stop the carnage in the end.

I think it's a good draw for both sides.....both teams will know they will have to play well to win.
Derry at home I dont think will be a major advantage as Armagh will have a new manager which usually means the first game or two the players lift themselves even more.

If either team has aspirations of winning ulster I think this half of the draw is perfect preparation for a final.

It's impossible to even half predict the outcome as Derry will have some new personell as will Armagh and the league will probably be used to get those new players up to speed.
I hope Derry can do it, but a lot will depend again on injuries as we have seen this year we struggle when any of our first choice players are missing.

It's a bad draw for both sides in my opinion. They both have to really prepare hard for this one. For the winners in particular it will be hard to sustain that level.
That's just, like your opinion man.

....wonder what these boys think? ;)
Wonder what the Armagh boys will think of facing that back line...... ;)

Illdecide, I think we'll have to give up on P Toal, I have been dinging on about him for a number of years now, but he just doesn't have the required commitment. I'd say that McGurn won't entertain boys with that sort of attitude. B Mallon, Jaimie Clarke, David McKenna will be fighting for that spot.
Keep your pecker hard and your powder dry and the world will turn.

When are the dates out for the games?

The losing team may have to wait up to 10 weeks to play again.

I would not have Toal anywhere near the Armagh set up, young McKenna might be worth a start given his performances this year albeit at minor level.
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.
