Upgrade to Windows 7 ?

I have a Dell Laptop running on Vista does anyone know if i run a cracked version of Windows 7, when i retest my laptop to factory settings will it return to Vista?

If you are using the tool that Dell have incorporated into the machine build, yes, it will go back to Vista
