Glad that Kerry won for Kennelly.  But what does he do now?  Will he go back to this AFL club or will he have to go to another?  All in all, fair play to him.
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

i am of the opinion that he will go back,he was having recurring problems with his shoulder and i think not only would it give him a chance of winning a all ireland but also give his shoulder a chance to heel.the man was earning $500,000 which is roughly 300,000euro,hard to turn down.

well you're wrong because he's staying with kerry- already been confirmed. He was never going to go back and I don't believe for one second the Swans wanted him to go back.

I'd say Kennelly is the right guy in the right place at the right time to secure good employment (even in time of recession). I'd say if gets decent career options here he would be crazy to go back.

Just to add I don't see the need for a new thread.

Right.. I assumed he was back for good and that returning to AFL wasn't an option. Would he not be in the twilight years now for AFL?

body wouldn't be able for it. He got 7/8 good years out of it. thats more than most AFL players.

Apparently he's heading down under for the launch of his new book at the end of the year. But in the mean time he wants to knuckle down playing for Listowel Emmets.

Well thats what I read on RTE.ie
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

well i do hope he stays, the difference in him from the league match in bellaghy and the all ireland final were unrecognisable, and i think he will get better.could he be Dara's replacement for midfield?

Didn't seem to be much wrong with his shoulder as it connected with Nicholas Murphy's jaw!

At least you didn't call it an elbow like those 2 eejits on the commentary. I know Canning knows the square root of f*ck all, but I'd have thought Carney would know the difference between an elbow hitting a lad, and an elbow coming away from the body AFTER making contact with the shoulder.

Tits.
