I'll be delighted if Murphy and Lacey get a couple of nominations, which they should IMO. I don't think they'll get an actual all-star as tat's not the way those awards work.

Surely Antrim having got to an Ulster Final for the first time in 39 years and running Kerry close they should get a couple of nominees? No? What you think?

Can't work out that if you play well in a final should get you an All Star.

Some people have put Sean Cavanagh in, take out the ulster final he has done absolutely nothing all year!

I wouldn't describe his contribution as nothing. Against Kildare, he brought Tyrone back into it when they were being badly bate.

Well I just don't think what he has done deserves an All Star, that's all.

Would be great to see a couple of Antrim lads get a nomination. Would just give the county a great lift

Goalies are never definites until the last ball is kicked. He drops a clanger in the final and his hopes will have gone down the tubes. Conversely, if Quirke pulls of a couple of decent saves he'll get the nod instead.

Also don't think Michael Murphy is a definite by a long shot. Goulding and Stephen O'Neill are probably ahead of him and a big final performance from Colm O'Neill, Gooch or Tommy Walsh will be hard to ignore.

I wouldn't say Griffin is in any way a cert. I would have thought he's a boy who could potentially get a roasting in the AIF. To be fair to him I expected it long before now.

I don't see Murphy as a cert any more either. He'll get one before Goulding, final permitting, I'd say. However there's probably one in teh Gooch with a good final and Donnacha O'Connor has been very good this year.
