Jason Ryan - last year's exploits probably sufficient for this year's disappointment to be overlooked - for now.

Glen Ryan - surely nailed on after the performance against Kerry and a general perception that he's made a difference.

Luke - probably condemned to another year in Carlow before resuming his odyssey around Leinster, but will probably apply for the Louth job. And Westmeath, Monaghan, Down, Kerry ...

Sean Dempsey - who knows? Last I heard he lost his mot to a student lad with skin as black as coal.

What are your thoughts on Ryan - the real deal or was last year a flash in the pan?

I have no idea about Ryan, to be honest. Like everyone else, I was mightily impressed with his team's performances last year, when he seemed to get 20% extra out of players we hadn't really noticed before. I don't know what happened this year. I think it was more than just the element of surprise being absent.

Having seen Wexford twice in the flesh I thought this year they were very unfit and poorly conditioned but I think they have talent and that Jason Ryan will learn from this and we'll see his true worth next year. Losing their talisman to injury has not helped either.
