Mixed bag as usual for Dublin.

Lower leagues/championships well under way....... most at 1/4 final stage now.
Hurling championships (at lower levels anyway) now "put on hold" as Senior A Championship unbelievably only starts this weekend.
Will have the usual finals played in an unmowed divot ridden O'Toole/Parnell Park in October/November.

Our modest junior hurlers have played 5 Championship, 9  League and 4 Cup games this season. Only 2 lgue games left. Can't really complain about that.

Football Championships will as usual imo get bogged down in objections shortly ( if the last few years are anything to go by).

The CCC in Cavan couldn't plan a shag in a brothel i am afraid!

why not do it like the rugby, fixtures booklet issued at the start of the year with all the dates if you don,t play you lose the points. No changed fixtures no exceptions. County players allowed to play up until 5 days before a county match. This should help managers of county teams to see who,s in form.

mixed bag really. The lower junior football leagues have become a joke with the abolition of playoffs.

Lower hurling championshiips were well run this year in general.

Senior hurling championship too late- but they are trying to give the regional teams in it a chance so i'll give them the benefit on that one.

Other football leagues for once running on time.

The carte blanche of no senior/inter football championship while the county side is still in action is beyond a joke at this stage.

Just in regards to Mayo's Co board, they always had club championship games running throughout the course of the Summer.
