Folks,
its time to use the combined knowledge of this board again for practical usage.

Hopefully this is too obscure and vague to end up in a traditional tyronie v armagh cat fight, but we will see !

Can anyone tell me of a good Tile shop/vendor in Dublin - pref city centre, west or North Cublin.

Obv have some tiling to do and want to avoid the rip off merchants

all useful info appreciated

Did a bit of scouting a while ago of the main shops and the best I found were Right Price Tiles and B&Q

Btw, do not buy quick set floor adhesive as it doesn't set properly, the normal powder mix works best...

You may find it is cheapest to buy your tiles in one of the big name stores but they'll try and fleece you on adhesives , grout , trims etc. Price tile adhesive at your local builders merchant to be sure youre not being ripped off. Rapid set for floors. Easy to mix and easy to use.
It wasn't even kennedy in the car.

Interested in tiles myself at the minute.

Given the strength of the euro v pound come to Armagh where you will find that McCann's have the best selection of high quality tiles at good prices with expert advice to hand.  Plenty of free samples to take home. They trade as Armatile.  http://www.armatile.com/  They can waterjet cut out any patterns to request.

I had been in Tyrone Tiles in Omagh and they are good but still not at the level of Armatile.  :D

While I can vouch for the excellent showroom on Station Road in Armagh you could just come down as far as Newry.  No distance from you.
Are you on commission?

Liam O'Carroll probably has a shed load of the best stuff he'd do a good deal on for a cash sale

On the subject of tiles and grouting , is it possible to remove grout from between floor tiles. I grouted my tiles recently and the grout is a very light grey which is horrible looking. I want to replace it with a darker colour but I dont know if this can be done.
Anybody any advice?
