iphone or ipod touch?

is there any way of having internet all the time on the i touch,the way u can with a laptop?gettin one of those pen type things??

Sorry Frank I missed your last reply there.

I have my touch topped with music podcasts and also a few video podcasts and movies as well.

Apart from that I have a few games like darts, pool, checkers, keepy uppy,, space monkey and I also purchased Crash Bandicoot for a few quid which is pretty good for a while.

I also have the BBC iplayer application which is handy to have as well.

The downside though is a lack of connectivity to wifi. We have it in the house and it's also in a few of my mates houses as well which means I get a chance to use it fairly often but it is annoying when you can't get connected. That's the only downside for me. If you do get one though I'd say invest in a decent cover as they are fragile things and you'll go mad if you do anything to it. Luckily mine is tip top but my cousin cracked his iphone after a couple of weeks... I couldn't be doing with that!

cheers mate.dont have a cover for it but must look into that! played the checkers and few other games on it,keeps u occupied for ten mins or so lol:)

i hate the way u always have to enter codes to get conected to wi fi etc!

I have the touch 16g, the coolest little application in my opinion for it is simlifymedia, it allows you to connect with your computer or up to 20 friends computers and listen to their music if you've got a wifi connection. I've about 35g of music on my computer at home so I have only half of it on the ipod touch, but if my laptop is on at home or left in sleep I can just connect to the home computer and listen to something thats on it. The only prob with the touch as mentioned earlier is that you have to find a wifi hotspot. But with the iphone you could do it anywhere through the phone.

wat website/program does everyone use tp put songs on to there i touch/i pods??? Just got computer fixed and everything cleared from it,want to download something now and upload songs onto my i touch,free of course!!!

It's a good site, download whatever albums/videos/games/software etc you want.

Once you have a file downloaded you just have to drag it across from your documents into your main itunes library. I find it useful to read any comments that have been left beside the torrent as well. at least then you can see the feedback from others on the torrent

i got my computer fixed and cleared of nearly everythin so have no music etc stored on computer!! Also i have cleared my i touch now from music and was gona start from scratch and start addin music.how on earth am i ever goin to mind songs from a year ago that i like and want,no point just addin the top 40 from today??is there any way someone could send me there playlists or something and i could just upload a few hundred songs!!

Thinking of purchasing an ipod touch probably just the 8gb. Know all about how to get music transferred, downloaded etc but what I wanna know is about the internet on it. I have wireless broadband here in the house so does that mean that i can use the ipod touch to get onto the internet? or does it have to be WiFi to get connected?

Aye you can just hop on your own home network, put in your WEP code once and it should not ask you again.
