The GAA has reduced admission prices for Sunday's Allianz NFL finals at Croke Park.

Sunday's double-header involving Kerry and Derry in Division 1 and Monaghan and Cork in Division 2 will bring the curtain down on league football action following the Division 3 and 4 finals which take place a day earlier in Longford.

Tickets for Sunday's action at Croke Park are priced at €25 - €5 less than last year's final admission prices - and group passes are also available for these games.

Interesting move which is to be welcomed all round. Well done to the GAA for being in touch with their people and supporters on this issue.

Good move but I don't think you could give tickets away for the League finals .
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

Group Passes are available for clubs and schools looking to give their young players a chance to see the action.

The Group Passes represent great value at just €3 per juvenile and one adult goes free for every 10 juveniles. Groups will be seated together in the lower Cusack Stand.

The minimum number for a Group Pass is 10 juveniles (16 years old or under).

Application forms for group passes are available from tickets@gaa.ie

Payment in advance is required and can be made over the phone by Credit Card or Laser Card or by cheque (payable to GAA).

Yeah but at least 50,000 of us would be late rather than the entire crowd of one man and his dog in the hogan stand since 12 eating hang sandwiches

That's assuming they aren't holding a protest at being forced to play in Croke Park ;)

No problem playing it there as no one is losing home advantage .However since Croker is now our home ground how much of the gate will be getting?

I'll see your 49,000 and raise you 11,000.  If 60,000 left Roscommon their would no one left .

Does the admission price include free parking for the Derry supporter's car?

Plaudits all round for this move, lets hope its not a one-off, the long term future of our games depends on our willingnes to support the grass root supporters and families in these straitened times

So was it €30 last year for the Divisions 1 and 3 double header? And €30 for the stand alone finals for Divisions 2 and 4?

If so, €25 is decent enough for the double-header in Croker this weekend, although last year was probably too expensive.

I think with the strength of the euro against the pound since this time last year, supporters from the six counties will see little or no difference this year.
