Saw him twice last night, coming out of one of the bars pre concert then standing in the foyer afterwards. Alone on both occasions but may have been waiting on someone..his wife most probably.

No but this is an annual thread about a good player but nothing more than that who plays for a county that are also-rans in the all-ireland race. Whats the fascincation with this guy. Appears to me to be a bit of the big fish in a small pond mentality . he probably wouldn't be mapped in a strong footballing county. I'm sick of reading about this pratt.

So are you saying only the best players should be discussed at the best counties?

No but I'm sure he's at home laughing away at all the idiots who think he's so important.

It wouldn't say too much for Sambo, or his opinion of his own squad, if he took on a player that had been dropped from the footballers for indiscipline.

Sure, the same happened this time last year, with Kevin McGourty. Surely, if Sambo thinks he has something to offer to the hurlers then he'll bring him on to the panel. If not, he won't.

He isnt anywhere near good enough for the hurlers, end of! There is more than one precedent KmcG and M Magill was taken in by the hurlers after being given the lash by Jodie.
