Was very big into Metallica at one time, but have no interest in going to see them again until they play an indoor show.

Also, why did they not just have 2 or 3 proper support bands instead of two that are essentially covers/tributes - Thin Lizzy and Alice in Chains?

TBH if i go, it will be for Metallica & Avenged Sevenfold only....the others i am not particularly bothered bout.. Without Phil Lynott its not Thin Lizzy, more of a tribute to them... Should be a great concert anyways  got my ticket :D:D

Going to see Metallica indoors in Birmingham and Glasgow this week.  Playing 6 or 7 tracks from the new album.  Can't wait.
it's 'circle the wagons time again' here comes the cavalry!

Mastodon are the best band going at the minute.  New album so far sounds immense. Not that bothered with anyone else on the bill. Seen that 'reformed' Thin Lizzy twice now, whatever about the sentimentality they do a storming show. Lamb of God have pulled out of it from what I've heard.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Cannot say i have actually heard much mastodon, maybe one or 2 tracks from my cousin who likes them. Yeah was reading this morning that Lamb Of God have officially pulled out. Does any1 know where marlay park actually is in Dublin?? I have never heard of the venue, been to RDS to see Guns n Roses at download in 2006 and thats really about it

I went to see metallica a few weeks ago in sheffield. Have to say, it was the best that i have seen them yet (seen them bout 7 times now). They were fantastic. They played a load of stuff of the new album which is brilliant.
The stage was in the middle of the arena, so it meant you got a great view throughout, Lars's drums kept moving round so he was facing each of the 4 sides once.
I brought the wife to see them for the first time (and they say romance is dead!) she was very apprehensive about it, but loved every minute of it.
