hoping some of the xboxers on here can provide help,young fellas xbox came up with E74 problem last night,contact xbox,done that this morning said should receive reply within 2 days,thing is not long out of warranty bought xmas 2007,did any of yous come acrosss this before and will they stand over it?dont play it myself so not sure but read before about red ring or something like that crashing them and i think xbox fix this problem foc,or is it just fooked!

Check http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941377 out. It's most likely a hardware failure caused by the same cooling issues that cause the Red Ring of Death. If thats the case MS should fix it based on the extended warranty scheme.

Check http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941377 out. It's most likely a hardware failure caused by the same cooling issues that cause the Red Ring of Death. If thats the case MS should fix it based on the extended warranty scheme.

Xbox extended the warranty for three years if you got the three rings of death.  I had this and they took it for 6 weeks before returning it fixed.  About 2 months later it developed a problem where it would keep crashing in games.  No red lights though so Xbox wouldnt fix it.  Had to buy an arcade 360.  No problems since
