i have indeed been playing a bit with the oval ball, west coast have shown interest already  ;D The whole mcdonalds story has been greatly exaggerated by the way  ::) Anyway i must get back to the pool here and cool down, after all it is 30 odd degrees and the sun is beating down here in Perth  ;)

p.s. Australia isn't ready for the ball g's man

Been promoted to pool cleaner or something, Jim?  Good man.  That'll get you in form for the cellar-dwelling Eagles.  Don't even bother looking anywhere near Freo.

Hitzelsperger, try to remember not to mention you're from one of the weaker Antrim clubs...as if there was a strong one.

Hot off the press in Western Australia has been the latest news of yet another Co.Antrim man converting to AFL.  Jim "call me Michael Phelps - just watch my butterfly" Stynes has made it to the inside page of the Stirling Gazette with his dashing displays during training for that most auspicious of clubs, Mt.Lawley Piranhas AFL club.  And I quote:

" 'J S' or 'Irish' to his mates, has been burning up the grass on the already parched sod.  His prowess with the Sherrin and adaptability to catching has caught the eye of the Thirds team coach, which should see him promoted from the U-18s maybe in the next three or four months.  Clearly his Gaelic Football background has served him well and his youthful exhuberence clearly belies his unique skills and age.  When approached about 'J S', Mark Harvey, coach of Fremantle declined to comment although 'J S's' attendance in the stand at Eagles training sessions hasn't gone unnoticed.  He was asked to bring his boots next time just in case..."

You heard it here first.

Its all true i am a star footballer out here, im just a natural with the oval ball  ;) Apparently Aerlik would have been good if would have concentrated more on football and training rather than his playboy lifestyle. Hes a serious man for running after the women lads.

Hoof, bit of a George Clooney going on... you know, getting more and more handsome as I get older; a bit like Fearon getting more modest as time passes.

The latest edition of the Stirling Gazette out tonight reports that Jim Stynes failed to train tonight.  Various reasons have been given among them a back injury from too much butterfly training, however methinks his John Wayne-like gait might have something to do with allegations on this  board about his testosterone levels.

He also claimed that the chlorine levels in the pool have been affecting his swimming.  Isn't the pool-boy supposed to stay out of the pool?

#22
I've just been shown video evidence which is going to break the hearts of Antrim footballers the world over.  Our own Jim Stynes in action for the Piranhas IIIs v. the colts which the latter won...easily.  JS in a post match interview expressed his dissatisfaction at the lack of time you get on the ball.  Nothing to do with the fact that he is unfit.

He has caught the eye of the Eagles again, this time whilst watching the senior squad train for the umpteenth time, as a mascot and as a sign of his new loyalty to the snobs, he has gone out and bought the whole bloody kit.  He claims he was told that it would take 0.000001 seconds off his 3,000m time trial.

Aye, Tadhg who?  Australia the new Jim Stynes has arrived - be warned - beware.

Hitzelsperger, you're never going to be able to compete.

35 disposals, 8 tackles and 3 goals. Not a bad aussie rules debut  ;)
