At least 10 people have been killed in a shooting at a school in south-west Germany, police say.

Most of the dead are thought to have been pupils at the Albertville secondary school in Winnenden, north of Stuttgart

Its awful. What the hell is going on with some people. We had that dreadful incident in the kindergarten in Belgium around Christmas. It would make you puke reading these stories.

Some facts emerging:

16 dead,

17 year old murderer killed by police.

His parents home was searched by police. 18 legally own hand-guns were found there.

do you think a student in N.Ireland could do the same? guns are available (it's N Iron FFS)

and why has it not happened before, germany has had it a few times england also and other European countries and of course America

it think the only thing happened here was some nutter with a hand made flame thrower

It seems to be becoming a very common thing.

I don't know whats wrong with them, do they want to commit suicide and just decide to make a name for themselves and take everyone out with them. The shooting in Alabama is just another reason why guns should not be available to the public no matter what the NRA say to justify it.

Killer warned of attack Online.

the message read: "I've had enough. I'm fed up with this horrid life... Always the same. People are laughing at me... No-one sees my potential... I am scared, I have weapons here, and I will go to my former school tomorrow and then I will really do a grilling."

The message then continued: "Possibly I get away, so keep your ears open, you will hear from me tomorrow. Just remember the name of the place, Winnenden."
