Booked a few days in Dusseldorf for the end of April (flights 2pence return incl taxes).  Just checking if anyone on here has been before and can suggest bars, clubs, hostels etc.

Not much help but they do a mighty Karneval there in a week or so in the run up to Ash Wednesday. They do "Rose Monday"  with a giant parade and the previous weekend the city is full of beer and sausage.
