There should also be a Worlds Weakest Man competition. I'd go for it.

What sort of events would this entail then??

Jar opening could be a good one, but use different jars for each competitor in case someone else loosens it for the next person...

I can't open jars.

I win.

But there might be someone else who can't even lift their jar never mind open it.

Leads me to ask then, what do you do when there is a jar to be opened in the HS household?

Didn't yer man Magnus the Icelander, die a few years ago?

That was Jon Pal Sigmarsson or something like that, fierce horse of a man who died of a heart attack in the gym in his early thirties.

He couldn't put over a '65 though.

He could probably throw the stick over from there

Wow, what a finish, Marius and Poundstone were head to head in a winner takes all atlas stones...

The yank had the last stone lifted and was about to place it up when it spun back and he dropped it!! Marius got his up and won then, amazing finish, would have been even better had I not googled him the other day and found out that he won it!!

Still a great achievement for the pole, its his fifth title, and he injured himself in the qualifying heats... I would say he could get up to about eight titles, deffo the greatest ever strongman.

Is Poundstone the real name of a weight-lifter?

True bill. And he is a strong man, not just a weight lifter.
