...well actually December.

I see actor extraordinaire PatricK Kielty has been signed up for a one-off Christmas special of popular GAA program Celebrity Bainisteoir.

I have to say that the bit of Gaeilge, Free State TV and involvement in "terrorist supporting filth" GAA combined with his theatrical experience should put him in line for some serious praise from a certain supporters website.

Good man Paddy!

/Jim.

his holiness nb

I enjoyed the show last year, great to see Gerald Keane getting beat in the final. Although he was the perfect panto villain for the show.
I hear Ray Darcy is signed up too, any other names yet?

In fairness to Kielty, surely he wouldnt be criticised for the play? Say what you may about the content of the play (true, not true, blah blah) he didnt write it, he was just an actor. A bit harsh holding a grudge against him for that.
Ask me holy bollix

Isn't George Hook involved with Cuala this year????

Main Street

Paddy Kielty should be a good choice, he can act the part, possibly using Mickey Harte as a method subject.

Darcy looks to be a guy who has travelled far beyond the small reservoir of his talents, doesn't appear to take heed of his inadequacies and yet amazingly is somehow still in demand. He would be perfectly matched to be a mentor for a Dublin team.

Andrea Roche from Clonmel is taking on a team as well!

They are from Clonmel too, the team that is.
There was a question on the DB there a few weeks ago, "Should women be allowed in the dressingroom" and I wonder what the Nay sayers would think now?
" Laois ? You can't drink pints of Guinness and talk sh*te in a pub, and play football the next day"

I heard the poor Maryland Boys have being taking a fair few hard knocks against the teams they have faced - looking to put them down a peg or two....
