We have to dumb it down for Adolph1's benefit. I figured that, with him being a conservative, pictures would be easier to understand than just having to read words.

This thread is fucked.  Shame, used to be a good place to discuss the issues.

Agreed Jell 0
You can't discuss issues when you have posters that lose their minds whenever a differing point of view is given.
Eamonnca1 (and his alter ego Sid Waddell) will even go to the extreme of trying to get such posters banned.

add that to the lack of humour from the left and all you get is po-faced repeaters who only spout outrage.

Calm down, Adolph. Just because one of your associates just went on a shooting spree in NZ doesn’t mean you should be losing your temper here.

If you look at the start of the thread, it doesn't seem to have changed that much.

I see Robert O'Rourke, the failed Texas politician, has declared that he is going to run in 2020 for the Democrat nomination.

Some turnaround after declaring in November that he had absolutely no intention in doing so.

We might not know much about him but we know he's a proven liar.

Democrats want to lower the voting age to 16 according to Pelosi.
Add that to their wish to allow "new americans" (code for illegals) to have the vote.

Still nothing on the Russian Collusion but they want to expand investigations to divert attention from the failure to get President Trump.

Democrats - Destroying America bit by bit.

The wearing of the green. Certainly suits Melania.

Great news for Ireland that he plans to visit next year.

Democrats want to make it easier for people to vote. Mitch McConnell calls that a "power grab." Repukelicans know that they can only win by cheating, gerrymandering, and voter suppression.

Adding illegal voters is actual cheating. Giving illegals id cards to allow the to vote is cheating.
There is no such thing as voter suppression. If people are too lazy to find ways to register that is their issue. They have 4 years inbetween presidential elections to do so.

Democrats losing their wigs about asking status on census forms to prevent fraud for congressional districts.

There is only one party that is cheating. The people in Ireland who read this thread need to know that President Trump is working for the people of the USA first and is acting in a responsible manner. The Democrats only work for the globalists, hence the open borders agenda to create chaos.

The only party cheating is the Republicans. They'll throw blacks and Latinos off the voter rolls, close down polling places in black districts, rig electoral boundaries left and right, and resort to every lying cheating trick in the book to hang on to power, and to hell with the wishes of the people. they have no shame.

🤥Trump averaged 15 false or misleading claims a day in 2018, according to WaPo. So far in 2019, Trump's averaging nearly 22 false claims a day.

🏌🏻‍♂️Trump has spent 397 days at his properties, amounting to more than half of his time in office and tens of millions in U.S. taxpayer dollars (NBC). Around 60% of Trump's scheduled time at the White House is spent in unstructured "Executive Time" (Axios).

🚫According to PolitiFact, Trump has failed to keep over 83% of his campaign promises after almost two years and despite total GOP control, failing to fund the border wall and pass "repeal and replacement" of Obamacare.

📊During his first year, Trump signed the fewest number of bills into law in over half a century (GovTrack), with more than half of those near record-low laws having to do with naming/stating something and modifying existing programs (NPR). About a third of Trump's deregulatory actions were started under Obama, while other actions had little impact, were part of actions typically taken by the federal government, or have not yet gone into effect (Bloomberg).

📝NOTE/ More than 90% of Trump's deregulatory efforts have been blocked in court, or withdrawn after a lawsuit, according to a running tally maintained by the Institute for Policy Integrity, a nonpartisan think tank sponsored by the New York University School of Law.

*****************************************************

💰Trump's tax law has failed to 1. simplify the code, increasing the number of tax expenditures from 216 to 233; 2. pay for itself, blowing another trillion dollar hole in the budget; 3. boost hiring or investment, resulting in little to no acceleration, and 4. raise real wages, breaking his promise of "a $4,000 pay hike".

💸Almost two-thirds of Americans polled say they haven't seen an increase in their take-home pay as a result of last year's GOP tax law (Gallup). According to a new American Barometer poll, only 33% of Americans say they are financially better off this year compared to last year. Also, 78% of full-time workers said they live paycheck to paycheck, up from 75% last year, according to a recent report from CareerBuilder. Overall, 71% of all U.S. workers said they're now in debt, up from 68% a year ago. NEW: A record 7 million Americans are 3 months behind on their car payments, the highest number in history according to a study released by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

🐘Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R): "There's no evidence whatsoever that the money's been massively poured back into the American worker."

🐘Retiring Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker (R): Tax cuts could be "one of the worst votes I've made."

🕰National Debt Clock Manager Douglas Durst: “The tax cut was an overall step in the wrong direction. Nobody who has any background in economics thought the tax bill was a good idea."

*****************************************************

📈The gross national debt has surpassed $22 trillion for the first time in U.S. history, with the interest that we pay on the debt becoming the fastest growing part of the budget, and as deficits soar under Trump and the GOP tax law, widening by 77% in the first four months of fiscal 2019.

📉Economic sentiment is at a new low under Trump, according to a new survey of 43 top economists, fund managers, and market strategists.

📉U.S. household wealth fell by a record $3.8 trillion, or 3.5%, at the end of 2018, and corporate bond issuance plummeted as a global market rout threatened to weaken a near-decade old recovery, according to Federal Reserve data.

📉U.S. stocks ended 2018 with their worst year since 2008, which was during the Great Recession, and their worst December since 1931, which was during the Great Depression.

📝NOTE/ The unemployment rate has barely budged, the labor participation rate is still lagging, the GDP growth rate is now slowing, and wage growth is getting better but has barely grown and is still below the target needed to *begin* to reap the benefits of economic growth while the workers’ share of corporate income has remained stagnant and far from recovery.

📝NOTE2/ As far as Trump’s claims that the US economy is the “best ever”, performance under his tenure ranks 6th out of the past 7 presidents with 12 of 14 metrics registering avg to below avg improvement. https://bloom.bg/2RRQL8W

📝NOTE3/ According to a NYT review of surveys of about 50 leading economists — liberals and conservatives — run by the University of Chicago:

🤝Trade Policy: F
💸Fiscal Policy: D-
🏦Monetary Policy: C

🏦Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell: "Financial markets became more volatile toward year-end, and financial conditions are now less supportive of growth than they were earlier last year."

🏦Fmr. Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen: Trump has "no" grasp of macroeconomic policy.

*****************************************************

📖“Art of the Deal” co-author Tony Schwartz: “Most of the deals in that book were failures. And the number of deals he’s made over the years since then have overwhelmingly been failures.” Trump is “really one of the worst” dealmakers I’ve come across.

❌NO DEAL on DACA.
❌NO DEAL on immigration.
❌NO DEAL on health care.
❌NO DEAL on gun control.
❌NO DEAL on spending cuts.
❌NO DEAL on Pacific trade.
❌NO DEAL on China trade.
❌NO DEAL on steel and aluminum imports.
❌NO DEAL on Middle East peace.
❌NO DEAL on Qatar blockade.
❌NO DEAL on Syria.
❌NO DEAL on Russia.
❌NO DEAL on Iran.
❌NO DEAL on Cuba.
❌NO DEAL on North Korea.
❌NO DEAL on climate change.

📝NOTE/ U.S. leadership sank to its lowest point in nearly two decades in 2017, shattering the previous record low of 34% in the last year of George W. Bush's second term, and more than tripling the number of countries where the majorities disapprove of U.S. leadership, per Gallup.

🐘Late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.): Obama better than Trump "as far as American leadership is concerned."

📝UPDATE/ China's median global approval rating sits at 34% — the country's highest score since 2009. Meanwhile, the U.S. has a 31% approval rating, which is only a 1% increase from the "new record low" seen during the first year of Donald Trump's presidency. 2018 also marks the first time that the global approval rating of Russia — currently at 30% — has been on equal ground with the U.S.

💥According to recent estimates by the United Nations and the U.S. Defense Department’s inspector general, the self-described Islamic State has between 20,000 and 31,100 fighters ― figures nearly identical to CIA estimates of the terror group’s strength in 2014 when it was near its zenith.

📊Pentagon spokesman Navy Cmdr. Sean Robertson: "Even after the liberation of ISIS controlled territory, ISIS probably is still more capable than al Qaeda in Iraq at its peak in 2006-2007."

☠️According to a new report by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), every single extremist murder in the US in 2018 had links to far-right ideology, making it one of the deadliest years in recent history. In addition, white supremacists increased their propaganda distribution by 182% last year.

*****************************************************

🔄In just 2 years, Trump has churned 65% of his most senior aides – a record that rivals the entire 4-year terms of his predecessors, per Brookings.

📝NOTE/ Mattis is the fourth member of Trump's cabinet to resign or be forced out in less than two months (and the third in less than two weeks).

🤝The U.S. ambassadors appointed by President Trump have given more financial support to his election than any group of ambassadors in recent history, even as they demonstrated fewer qualifications for the job, according to a new study of ambassadorial appointments over the last three decades (Axios).

*****************************************************

📉According to an analysis of EPA data by Cynthia Giles, who led the EPA’s enforcement office under Obama, civil penalties for polluters in the last fiscal year declined to the lowest average since 1995.

📉In addition, the Associated Press reports the EPA last year pursued the lowest number of criminal prosecutions against polluters since 1988. And of the merely 166 cases that were referred for prosecution, only 62 federal convictions resulted—the lowest since 1995.

📉Furthermore, the number of white-collar crime prosecutions fell to the lowest level in 20 years after reaching a high in 2011 during the Obama administration, according to a case-by-case analysis of government data by Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse.

⚖️For the first time in years, the United States is no longer in the top 20 least corrupt countries, according to the annual global corruption index compiled by Transparency International. “This decline comes at a time when the U.S. is experiencing threats to its system of checks and balances as well as an erosion of ethical norms at the highest levels of power,” the report states, listing the United States as a country to watch.

⚖️In a new report, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) finds that there is compelling evidence that Trump may have personally committed up to eight criminal campaign finance and related offenses while running for president and during his first year in office.
