General discussion / Re: Brexit.
« on: Today at 11:31:12 AM »
A few tears there from oul Maybot.  Repeatedly thrown under the bus by her own. The poison chalice passes to another.
She threw herself under the bus time and again, including arrogantly calling a General Election which spectacularly backfired.

Yeah I have a degree of sympathy for her but the snap election was her downfall. . . she had a parliamentary majority of 15 and had a big lead in the polls thinking she would increase this when they totally fudged the thing and Labour made gains on her.

From there it was defeat after defeat and in truth she achieved nothing of value during her time.

On the leadership the cult of Boris could possibly win but there is usually a huge circus around these things and anything can happen. Nobody saw Teresa May coming in last time!

One thing is for sure there are some dangerous f**kers lurking about none moreso than that Dominic Raab w**ker. Half the country will be broke and the rest hugely rich if he has his way!!

Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling Koepka is taking something?

It's just you. Unless you want to present some rational explanation or even a shred of evidence?

The only thing that he could possibly be taking would be the CBD oil which can aid focus and concentration???

An ordinary ending for an extraordinary series, but I enjoyed it all.

Hope there's spin offs, someone was convincingly telling me last week there's a prequel about the Mad King era in production already? Haven't investigated tbh. Ayra going East could be very interesting and is a blank canvas.

Yes!!! I get it now . . . didn't make sense to me at half 3 this morning!!

Maybe been covered before in here but has anyone any recommendations for a short midweek (around late Oct nearly Nov) break in Europe for couples?
Somewhere not too expensive, plenty to see and do and also sit and watch the world go by with a beer in me hand for a few hrs if the mood takes.

Prague and/or Krakow.

Been to both and would highly recommend. . . if you held off until early December the markets are class I would highly recommend them. We were there last year it was a great atmosphere.

It's not 90p a pint anymore but I got a pint for £1.50 in one bar which was nice!

Jesus lads can we get a petition up or something to stop them showing games we've seen from a few hours before. . . why do they have to analyse the the live games they've already shown in such detail when that's already been done??

There's so much going on at this time of year they should really be using their time better!!

Tab clear, keep this up and I tell you the end before Sunday for pure badness. There's a warning for the spoilers on the thread after all

Huh? The warning is that there are Spoilers in the thread? If you have any info on the ending get yourself down the bookies  ;) ;)

You would think Guardiola would wear a tie and shave for such a big day.

At least there was no sign of the cardigan...

It can be yours for what Iím sure will be a nominal fee . . .
