Faulty was brilliant.

Not a fan of American comedy shows like Big Bang or Friends. Don't find them particularly funny. Loved always sunny in Philli. Boston Legal was great. South Park genius.

Laois / Wexford Senior Hurling 2026
Last post by Leixman - Today at 05:06:31 PM

JOHN FOGARTY
Former Cobh Ramblers manager Shane Keegan has joined the Wexford senior hurling management team for 2026.

The Laois man was in charge of Tipperary club JK Brackens senior football and hurling sides this past season and works as head of coaching and games in his native county.

I find this a poor choice

Quote from: Munchie on Today at 12:44:37 PMThere was no humour in it, it was just cringefest, Manuel's character was horrendous.

one of the classics of its time and for many generations after it, probably getting dated now but I suppose people find the IT crowd funny and the Inbetweeners, which I found utterly shite and cringy as f**k..

Add in the Big Bang Theory into that

Probably  two  of the best  comedies in recent years.

Although if you include Detectorists as a  "comedy" , then that tops everything.

Again goes down to taste and likes.. and age to an extent..

Inbetweeners a bit too cringy, never really warmed to it. IT Crowd on the other hand had some good episodes, the work outing among the best.

Ah no, each episode  was 30 minutes of pure  mayhem. Not my favourite sitcom  but  it's up there.

She had dementia  for years.  I remember watching  their canal boat show (very enjoyable actually), and she  said she  had trouble  remembering things that happened that day, but could recite  lines and lines  of Shakespeare no bother. Strange  how the mind works

That was good viewing alright. She was diagnosed with dementia 12 years ago.

Majority see it as a timeless classic than told to like it. Out of interest which shows do you find humorous?

In terms of british comedy Fawlty Towers is right up there as one of the best ever. Loved only fools and horses but my favourite was probably Yes Minister/Prime Minister. Brilliantly written and acted.

US comedies, No 1 The Big Bang Theory. Great show. I Would have watched Friends, Frasier etc back in the day and also really like Rules of Engagement.

For me the sign of a great comedy is one where you will quite happily watch it, even when you have seen it multiple times before.

Getting planning permission for lights is very difficult in the city, not sure that is any of the clubs fault, a few have tried a bunch of times to get them.

Quote from: Antrim on Today at 03:41:02 PMSt John's v Gort in minor B final tomorrow. In Creggan of all places with a Belfast referee.

That's embarrassing for the county that not one pitch in Belfast could have hosted this game.

Unfortunately it will reduce the amount of people willing to go along and watch the game especially the young lads in the city.

why does it have to be at night ? if theyve waited this long whats wrong with this saturday or sunday ?
