I was near the Miullan incident.  Saw it well.  Must say, I was definitely pleased.  The Monaghan man did the dirty on Mullan.  Mullan got him back.  The Monaghan man dropped like a bag of shite.  If you are going to dish it out you can't complain.  Didn't stop Monaghan, who were  low for so much of the game.   P Bradley was so abused for the whole game and unbelievebly got booked before the game ended, for zilch.

Doherty did deserve a red, he struck.  Kavanagh had Doherty by the back of the jersey, clearly shown on TV.  I believe thats a booking, and with his first half booking would have meant an early bath for Kavanagh.  Had the ref taken action with the entire incident then the net result of the game would have been the same as with his inaction.

LOL, that's quite a backward-logic analysis.  Are you sure you didnt have 10 pints before your curry chip? :P

Its simple - either you want the ref to respond to the entire incident or you only want him to respond to the bit you didn't like.  Its called consistency.

Ref was a good contender for man of the match, Bradley supplied the dives for the game and got some handy frees to win the game.

I was at the end of the pitch that Derry were shooting into in the 2nd half.  My clear memory was that every time Bradley went for a ball his marker pulled and slapped him.  I don't know how visible this was on TV but your comment on Bradley diving is bollocks.  Bradley's man should have been dealt with earlier and more robustly by the ref.

Donegal were far more economical in the first half with their shooting, putting the ball in fast to their forwards. Then to come out in the second half and try and walk to ball up the pitch was insane. I can't remember his name, but the 19 year old Donegal man is a good find for them. They could of done with Deavney there today.

Derry dominated the middle of the field, I was impressed that Donegal were able to vary their kickouts enough to counter some of this. I would like to see what the possession stats were like. I would say Derry had 60% if not more of it.

Tyrone and Armagh won't be too worried about the prospect of facing either should they have to at some stage this summer.

Gee that hurts.
