Maybe been covered before in here but has anyone any recommendations for a short midweek (around late Oct nearly Nov) break in Europe for couples?
Somewhere not too expensive, plenty to see and do and also sit and watch the world go by with a beer in me hand for a few hrs if the mood takes.

Prague and/or Krakow.
Second that but there won't be much heat about. You could try Lisbon or southern Spain if there are off-season flights available. A friend went to Malaga and thought it was really nice having spent years arriving at the airport and then heading to the costas.

Watching the game on BBC now, that was some pass and finish for that Armagh goal in extra time.
BBC not afford to show the score?! Very annoying.

Too many lads hang on, so Kompany making the right decision to leave after a successful season. I'd be surprised if he played 20 matches a season for the last 3 or 4 years so he's better winding down.

The state of her  ;D

Good to see she dressed appropriately for the occasion. :P

Looks like one of the  Liverpool office staff that Brendy was knocking off.
City fans becoming as obbsessed with Liverpool as their noisy neighbours are.

Why would anyone be obsessed with a team who haven't won the league in 30 years?

Didn't see it but that's a serious humping at that level in the last 4 of a competition. Shit one for Best and Cave to go out on.

Enjoying Chernobyl on Sky Atlantic, although the "ey oop, lad" accents of some of the characters takes a bit of getting used to.

The bar is set pretty low when it comes to politicians here so I donít see what the obsession is with Martina Anderson other than a bit of old fashioned Sinn Fein bashing? Theyíre all pretty shite as individuals and politicians, she definitely doesnít have the monopoly in the department
You can criticise her without nailing SF. I think she is absolutely useless and has zero respect amongst her peers. She got voted in because of who she is rather than what she can do. I would equally say the same about Dodds.

If I wanted someone to diligently and competently fight my corner in Europe I'd go for Long. I'd even have Danny Kennedy ahead of either Anderson or Dodds.

Have you ever seen Anderson and Dodds in the same debate? If you did you wouldn't put them anywhere near the same level!
That's an argument around levels of mediocrity.

I would take the banter from most supporters, but Liverpool fail to realise continually is that they finished behind this outfit last year.

9 points ahead of them this season though.... ;)

Will Salah, Firmino, Mane all stay? Or could Madrid come calling?

They can call All they want. Why would anyone leave Liverpool for Madrid at the moment?!?
Why does any footballer leave for any team?! If you're on 100 grand a week at Liverpool or 300 grand a week at Madrid I'd say 9 out of 10 footballers take the offer.

Well done City. Great race and Liverpool did what was required today. 7 draws the killer but still the CL and next season to look forward to.

I'm no Leinster fan but a few points OB.

- Leinster arguably missing 3 starters in Leavy, Van Der Flier and you could say Carbery. That would have made a fair difference.

- Leinster reached the European final playing in 3rd gear all season.

- Saracens brought a fair few of those lads through the academy - Farrell, George, Kruis, Itoje to name a few. 2 Vunipolas joined as young lads.

I donít think you can say Carbery to be fair!

What were the thoughts on Garces? I didnít get to give the game my full attention but he seemed to still be very slack on the offside/coming in from the side/supporting your body weight particularly in Sarries favour?

Did any of you more knowledgeable rugby heads think this??
It was known before the game that Garces doesn't give a shit about refereeing the breakdown. That's the way he referees. French refs should never be allowed near these big finals.
