Apparently Derrylaughan are entering the same group as us, Dungiven along with Loughmacrory, portglen1 etc
Yeah they are, we were supposed to play them at home last weekend, the referee turned up at our pitch but neither club knew anything about it.

Had bother with these in the past and went to the doctors and they just cut it out.
Now if it occurs I just cut it out myself, a small pair of sharp scissors, cut down the middle of the nail right to the root and then rip it out.  Then cover it for a few days with some antiinfection cream and does the job.

Our group now go to Chamonix each year flying to Geneva then hiring 2 cars and booking our own chalets.  Works out much cheaper.

Are you doing a week or a few days? I might be interested i something like this towards March/April.
Rough idea of cost?

Bulgaria wouldn't always be snow sure. There was very littel there last year.
Livigno is pretty snow sure as it is high up and is also a duty free resort so it is very cheap when there.  Good night life etc in it also, was there last year and heading back ont he 26th January with a group of 29.

Yeah Livigno great, I was there last March, and was dirt cheap in comparison to the France resorts I've been to, good range of skiing and good craic off piste through the tree's.

Les Deux Alpes one of best resorts been to so far, quite a range of skiing, and found the piste rating maybe under rated.  Like a red run there would have been black runs elsewhere.  If you want to ski off the mountain in the evening you either have to go down a choice of blacks or a long narrow green (about 3-4 metres wide with sort of cliff/hill to one side) which gets very crowded in the evening when most people going off the mountain.

The 3 I have booked I have went with a travel agent as there has been 19, 25 and 28 people each time and if something went wrong, thats a lot of people looking at me to sort it.

For March not sure where going yet, possibly Sauze d'Oulx. any one been there before?

Was in Les Deux Alpes a couple of years ago.  Good resort, lively and plenty of skiing area, with guaranteed snow as there is a glacier at the top.
28 of us going to Livigno on January 26th.
Trying to get one sorted shortly for 15th March, not sure where yet.

General discussion / Re: Static Electricity!
October 26, 2007, 12:01:46 AM
Also remember back when was at school, what ever type of monitors we had there was always a large build up of static on the screens. You would have put your hand on the screen and rubbed your hand aroudn the static charge and witht he hand still on the screen you touched someone walking past and they would have got a shock.

I got a major static shock recently.  A lorry which sucks shavings/sawdust into it through acrylic/plastic sort of pipes. Just when finished putting it on I went to lift the pipe, had it in my hands a few seconds and then an almighty crack/bang.
I jumped, and was a few seconds until I realised what it was, my hand was sore and went totally white and numb.  It was about 15 minutes before the colour and feeling came back into it right.
