Another slow scene setting episode.  A calm before the storm.

Horrific from Leeds. Have they blown automatic?

That's only twice I've had the pleasure of watching that Ajax team this season. They are a joy to watch. Unfortunately they will no doubt be torn apart by transfers this summer.

It was well talked about a while ago on this thread but I finally got round to reading "I heard you paint houses" by Charles Brandt.  Thanks very much for the recommendation as I have to say it's probably the best true crime book I have ever read.  I hope the upcoming Scorsese film does it justice.

Great win for Tiger. He played the best golf and had the biggest cajonies.
Also Sunday afternoon Golf is brilliant. Wish there was more of it.

God no!! Kids running in and out shouting/dinner ready just before Tiger hit his tee shot on 16 it was horrible couldn't get peace to enjoy it at all!!!

Agreed. Much prefer the late evening finish.

Crolla was mandatory so of course he was going to take the fight but it was a mismatch from the outset. Hopefully Mikey Garcia comes back down and gets the fight made with Loma now.

Joey Barton still a loose cannon as a manager. Punched and headbutted the Barnsley manager in the tunnel after yesterdays game.

The man is unhinged.

Saw a lot of social media backlash at Ashley Young from the Utd supporters midweek. I didn't see the match and yes probably he played poorly.  The lad is not a right back though. He has been shoehorned into that position out of necessity. More of a club problem than an Ashley Young problem.

Heading to Amsterdam in July, been many times but never did the Anne Frank tour, tried booking it today, booked out all through July!! Any other ways of getting a tour?

https://www.annefrank.org/en/museum/tickets/

20% of tickets released on the day aswell so check that out . Get there early and hope for the best. Went there Kings Weekend (their equivalent to St Patrickís day) 2 years ago. Good thing to see while youíre there. Canít wait to go back!

Cheers, been so many times but never did the tour

I did the tour. Didn't book it so we had to be there quite early in the morning.  We were probably there about 1 hour before it opened and there was quite a queue at that time, but we did eventually get in.  I of course was suffering from a pretty tidy hangover and it was all I could do not to vomit in Anne Frank's room. Still a great tour though.

Is there anyway of putting a VPN onto a smart TV??

I believe you can get something for your router but not for the smart tv itself.

Was at a recording of the Blindboy live podcast in Castleblayney last Saturday night. A very interesting discussion on the arts, the guests were Abbie Spallen and Trish Lambe. I wasnít too sure what to expect but really enjoyed it.

I saw he has one coming up in Belfast and I would be tempted to go.  Does he notify who the guest are beforehand or do you just go and find out?

McClaren sacked again.  Tim 'geezer' Sherwood lined up to replace him.

McClaren was a poor appointment from the start.  Tactics Tim would be another one.

Jared Cook is a nice pickup by the Saints. TE was obviously a big necessity for them in the offseason with Watson retiring.

General discussion / Re: Kerbsy, Kerby or Cribby?

Kerbsy. Never heard of cribby until this week. In Belfast when the local lads painted the edge of the footpaths with their choice of colours... what do they call them? Cribs or kerbs?

Anyway, we had loads of different rules. Catching the rebound before it hit the ground = Double points. Throwing it behind you and over your shoulder - 50 points. Every 20 you get to go to the middle of the road. If you miss while in the middle of the road your opponent gets the chance to hit you before you get back to the safety of your own side. If hit you return to zero. Great craic. Probably a lost game now.

I remember the old fella's used to play quoits in the summer evenings. Another game that has gone now.

Should the DNA not be really a non issue given that they probably don't have a sample of her DNA and any obtained could be familial.

According to the expert on that podcast they have now great results in complex DNA cases, even when they are presented with a bit of a jumble of DNA in one sample. He said they would only need the data from the original test in order to put it through their computer software.
