The Icelanics were mad. Still did a good deed by holding up the Palestine flags.

Some finish to the voting with both North Macedonia and Sweden flopping in the public vote. The Netherlands winning out.

Perreras missed chance might have made the game more entertaining but there was only ever going to be one winner.

Patrick Peterson corner back of the Arizona Cardinals has been suspended 6 games for taking performance enhancing drugs. Normally it is 4 games for a first offence but he had a masking agent in his sample as well so it is a six game suspension. This is a big blow for the Cardinals and a bigger blow for Petersons reputation.

Just to recap Liverpool finished 31 points ahead of United and 43 points ahead of Everton. Some of their fans are having trouble dealing with this new reality. The European cup is on its way back  home to Anfield as well.

While it is disappointing not to be able to close the deal, Liverpool have been more impressive than I expected at the start of the season. Hopefully there will be money to spend on strengthening the squad in the summer.

A good win today for Clare in Waterford. Clare were in control for most of the game but Waterford came on strong in the end and were close to stealing it.

Tip looked strong in taking care of Cork in pairc ui caoimh today. Cork and Waterford have it all to do now after losing their home games.

Leinster 10 all with Saracens at half time. It looks like being a tight game.

f**k that... did not want Spurs! >:(

Fair play to them though, some second half.
Yeah would have preferred Ajax. Thought we would have picked them off on the counter.
Spurs though were excellent against us at Anfield and will probably have Kane back.

I think I prefer having Spurs. I am not saying it is going to be easy against Spurs but you never get an easy opponent in the champions league final. Spurs I think are as easy as it gets at this stage.

Ajax were the better team they just let it slip through their fingers.

Will hat trick hero Moura be dropped for the final now if Kane is back?
If the Ajax goalkeeper and defender hadn't got in each others way for the second Spurs goal Ajax would probably have cruised home.

I had no pre match nerves as I thought we had no chance without  2 of our 3 amigos up front and a 3 goal deficit to overcome against Messi, Suarez and Coutinho and company. Just goes to show how wrong you can be in this game. I thought all was lost for the season, now I can't wait for sunday. You never know, Brighton are showing signs of life. The double is still on.

An heir for Hewitt, hooray. I see none of you savages had the good sense to mark yesterdays great news with a thread of its own. Prince DeSean is doing fine by all accounts.

I have gotten  into watching youtube clips of the original knowing me knowing you with Alan Partridge series. It really is top class. There was only ever one series of that ending when he shot one of his guests on live tv. It is a shame he never brought it back as it was brilliant.

What a frustrating night for Liverpool. We had 3/4 good chances and didn't take any of them. 2 of those chances from Mane and milner would have completely changed the game if we had taken them. The other best chance the Firminho/Salah miss would have kept the tie alive. Still you never know what might happen if Liverpool take their chances early in the return leg. Look what Utd managed to do against a far superior PSG team. Barcelona were not a far superior team to liverpool tonight and look what they achieved.
