Supposedly Frank Dawson turned down the water boy job at Kilcoo as the package offered was not good enough. Believe this if you wish.

It's as realistic as some of the other tripe being I've read here recently  ;D

Mickey Moran Appointed Kilcoo Senior Team Manager

Eoghan Rua Cill Chua CLG are delighted to announce the appointment of Mickey Moran as senior team manager on a 3 year term.
Mickey was unanimously ratified at a club committee meeting this evening and the club are over the moon that the Glen Maghera man has agreed to become our manager.
Moran is a former Derry player and manager, and is renowned as one of the top coaches in the GAA. He had spells as manager in Mayo, Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo in the past and more recently led Slaughtneil to 4 Derry and 3 Ulster club titles.

Also part of the new management team will be Conleith Gilligan, who will act as team trainer.
Conleith is also a former Derry player and only this season retired from a very successful club career with his native Ballinderry Shamrocks.
A prolific forward, Gilligan won an All Ireland club Title, two ulster club titles and seven Derry championships with the Lough Shore club.
In recent years he has took up some coaching/training roles while still playing and is highly rated in this regard.

Paul Devlin will also be part of management team in a coaching role. Paul is also a Native of the Oak Leaf County.

We wish our new management team and players all the best for the 2019 season.

England Squad Announced - no rice. Is there still a glimmer of hope? Have seen some people saying its out of the question and they wouldnt have him. Surely hes a player we wouldnt be in a position to turn down - after all he is a young player who has had his head turned by the english media, club chairman etc

dont know why you arent using it full time lurganblue.

The system I have is 100%. Rarely messes about and if it does there are a host of backups.

We have 2 tvs running in the house via firestick - had zgemma which was ok but firestick is twice that.

Back to Celtic,

Celtic face losing the services of Daniel Arzani and Eboue Kouassi for the remainder of the season.

Kouassi was injured against Hearts at Murrayfield on Sunday and has been diagnosed with a knee ligament injury.

Arzani made his debut at Dundee on Wednesday but was taken off.

"We are waiting on the final analysis of the scans but it is unfortunate. It looks like we will have two cruciate injuries," said Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.

"If it is the case it will rule them both out for the rest of the season."

Congrats to Burren - deserved their win.

Cathal Murdock gave a masterpiece in long range free taking - what did he get - 4 of the first 6 burren scores? Dont think hes ever been in a down senior team? He hasnt got a bad haul of medals - including McRory, Hogan, Down Senior Champ

Aside from all this negative Sh*te about Jose, pogba and co - I try to get over to OT a couple of times a year and have booked in the last few days for myself, brother and father who's 60th we are going for.

Day trip - collected at 5 Ways Newry about 5.40am, arrive in manchester for 2pm (trafford bar for 3pm  ;D), champ league game and home for 6am, bus + boat + match ticket for 99 p.p.

Champ League v youngboys at the end of nov - may or may not be a meaningful game but its unbelievable value.

Anyone done a day trip recently? - been years since I have.

Had a thought of getting something on a big screen for the old boys birthday, emailed off to the club and they came back to me within a couple of hours saying send them a pic and a message and they will have something in the match day programme - delighted!

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get one of the retro jerseys - was a big fan of Best in his day - maybe one of the retro 7 jerseys.

thanks in advance
