Jesus f**king christ, thats twice in 2 posts you've laid into Moore, under the guise of "I don't mean to criticise but". He's a fine young up and coming referee, he didn't suit your team tonight, get over it, that happens to the best. Maybe if we encouraged referees in this county instead of giving them guff anonymously we wouldn't still be looking at 67 year old ones trotting between the 65's making up their own rules.

Agreed here. Heís young, up and coming and will be grand with experience. Itís more lads his age we need to be bringing in.

Ballyfin has few chances and will regret not winning it only for Carroll and Murphy with crettyard.
On the referee strange decision at the end, ballyfin werenít happy. Imagine goal wasnít given for crettyard because of the black card he gave and whistle must have been already blown. Anyways, no harm to see a fresh face as an official. Referee wasnít the losing of it anyways
Going to be hard for Ballyfin now. Seems Finn is now going back abroad. Canít see Crettyard going any further but itís prob job done for them now.

I'd like peoples opinion on our best referees in the county. Football & Hurling if you like. I see more football than hurling.

My top 5 in football would be

1. Maurice Deegan
2. Eddie Kinsella
3. Brendan McCann
4. David Moore
5. Clifford Ward

Mulhare an inter county referee. Does he not make the 5?

Well done to our neighbours in Courtwood. Might be a year too soon to win it but I can now seen them in county final day at least.

Everyone expecting them to tank ballyfin but in fairness to Ballyfin they showed some good spells at times. Great to see Healy back from injury. Thought it was a good game been honest and glad it wasnít the 50 point beating which everyone was expecting.

At last we have secured a top class hurling referee in this county. John OíBrien makes everyone else look so poor. Well done.

Surely they bet Wexford?
Bet Wexford by 1 in Graiguecullen. Also only lost to dublin first team by 5 points on Friday last. Am told it was a very physical encounter dubs just pulled away in the last 5 mins when Laois had a player sent off.
