Martin Murphy is not staying on with Port and Eddie Kinsella not staying on with Courtwood as per their Facebook page.
Port looking for a high profile manager I hear ...and have been for weeks. High profile is pricey though...

I think it's an investment that would bear fruit if the right man could be got. I know you think otherwise PK but Portlaoise look susceptible to me, and Port have the makings of a very good side.
i agree portlaoise are very susceptible, I just think we are not as bad as portrayed but would say Port will make a serious effort to win it next year along with a couple more.

Was he not trying to get a move to Portlaoise a few years ago?

It gets better and better... so it's not for the love of rosenallis he is doing this.... why did that not go through?
because it never happened.

Lads are really losing the heads over nothing here, player goes back to his original club.It makes sense, if he did rock up at Portlaoise it would look bad but to go home, there is no issue.Calm down.

No, rumour we all heard but it had no truth in reality.

Huge loss for Portlaoise and Laois. One of the few top managers inside the county. Rhode won't be an easy job either, as they don't seem to be as strong as previous years and I'm not sure they have much coming through underage. Best of luck to Malachy all the same.
well I'd imagine he wont be lost to either laois or portlaoise and will come back a better manager for managing Rhode...they are lucky to get him

The word legend these days  is bandied about for every dog on the street but this time its true,  Bruno is a genuine Portlaoise legend.

Interesting move for him, he needs it, he has tried to get a transfer for a couple of years now so finally the CB might allow him his move.

Aside from this story its the season for transfer rumours, its getting as bad as soccer with rumours!

Ronan McEvoy for the Laois Seniors? Christ, the young lad still sleeps with the light on at night!
Exactly Batman . And also I doubt a lad Is ready to play for Laois seniors when he canít even start for his club .Cant be putting the cart before the horse.
totally agree, sugrue had him in training at one stage but he has to show it at club level first, I've no doubt he will though.laois u20 for sure
Is he underage for under 20s in 2020?
I would imagine so...not sure exactly  if I'm honest but I think he is

I wouldn't rule out portlaoise next year lads , Healy and cahillane  will be back...the young lads will have another year to progress , I expect Saunders, Dowling, Larkin, mcevoy and jason Maher to be big players for next year, and a couple more to bring even more youth to this team. Make no mistake portlaoise are not going away.

This year was poor, the poorest it's been in many many years and still county champions despite this fact, it makes you wonder if they were not beaten by this year how the hell will they be beaten next year when surely they wont be as bad again...I expect some changes, a couple to step away but that's natural and good in terms of the squad.

I dont blame rigney one iota, he and the club were left in a desperate situation and made the best of it..he is a brilliant  clubman who stood up to the plate when no one wanted the job and a man I admire greatly.Do I expect him there next year , absolutely not.As I said before this year will desperately hurt portlaoise and every step will be taken to make things right.

On a side note, harsh enough to have u20 senior at 2pm today...

Fair play to eire og, they wanted it more .best of luck in final, this year will hurt portlaoise, it was not good enough by anyones standards.

As for yer man poacher, if he was in charge of eire og they would have lost , a loser lost on Twitter whilst real coaches like Joe Murphy coach real teams to finals and beyond
.
