Tyrone / Re: Tyrone County Football and Hurling
« on: April 22, 2020, 03:40:46 PM »
As much as I'd love football to be played this Summer there's a much bigger picture here. How could we send a team out to play with a risk that one of the lads could contract this virus from a teammate or opponent? Or that someone who shows up to watch is infected? Or the physio? Is it practical to test everyone who plays, manages or attends every game up and down the country?
I know I wouldn't be putting my lad in that harm's way over the sake of a game of football.

Killyman still going strong. Few rough years results wise but there's enough good work going on around the club to ensure there are better days ahead.

I see Frampton had a dig at George Groves for quitting. Didn't think that was in him.

Absolutely, whatever their viewpoint. Sexism has nothing to do with this. Who sanctioned the use of Garvaghy for this rubbish anyway? Can anyone rock up and start giving interviews on whatever they see fit?
Keep politics and religion as far away from sport as possible.

Thanks - appreciate the response. We're meeting with contractor next week so compiling a list of questions. House isn't due to be started for another 6 weeks so we've a bit of time to suss things out.May take you up on that PM at some point!

Buying a house off plan and starting to speak to contractor about finishes. What way are upgrades normally paid for, up front or on completion? Can they be added to mortgage and is there normally scope for bargaining? Any tips on buying in a new build development would be much appreciated.

Surely not? Kerry would never stoop so low. Has to be a way to blame Tyrone for tricking those angelic Kerrymen.

Cavanagh has an awful shiney head.

Hard one to take.Tyrone should have made more hay while on top in the first half. Kerry got a goal while they were in their purple patch and that was the difference.

Deegan did what was expected with a few handy frees for kerry in the second half but Tyrone should have taken it out of his hands.

Expect Dublin to win the final but fair play to Kerry, they knew how to get the win, Tyrone didn't.

Harte to stay, Tyrone to make a semi final next year at least, Dubs for six in a row.

Tyrone posters might remember Clithero refereeing. In underage matches, if someone was soloing the ball near a tackler or was in danger of overcarrying he used to count 1,2,3,4.. out loud. Actually worked well enough.
