This should be getting more air time over here. This stuff is still being produced and used today. Dupont have a factory outside Derry as well.

Shocking, revealing, tragic.

Hudson is a dodgy ref.
How did Fergal Borland not get a free.
He is giving Meath a fair amount of easy frees.
In fairness Diarmuid O'Connor should have conceded a penalty to Meath before that. Inconsistent refereeing very frustrating to watch.

Francie Brolly

May he RIP.

See RTE reporting he represented east Londonderry, WTF is that about while reporting a proud man like Francie.

Very bad form from Howard going at Clifford after last equalising free, he was also trying to conduct the referee all night along with McCarthy and Philly. Philly with 2 red card acts last night but is still hard done by. Great entertainment in fairness, people online giving out about ref need to look at what their own players are up to - Gaelic football is a near impossible game to referee when every trick in the book being used to slow down play, lads running at free taker before striking ball etc. Thought Hurson dealt firmly with what looked to me to be mainly Dublin player excessive complaining.

Corofin player makes a meal of it no doubt but I can’t blame the ref for this booking. If you lift your hand to someone’s throat, you run the risk. Part and parcel of “playing on the edge”. Sometimes you’ll get away with it, sometimes you won’t.

Looks like Corofin no.7 Dylan Wall raises Kilcoo lad's hand to his face to get him in trouble, his exaggerated fall is pure put on.

Did one of these a few months back and it's thrown up some interesting stuff. A strange one that i've discovered this morning is that an ancestor surname Coleman married to Munley moved from Mayo to the dungannon area presumably around 1820's and then to America. My fathers grandmother was Coleman so thats the connection. Not long before that folk were going from north Armagh South Tyrone areas to Connacht so was surprised to see this. Can any of our green and red friends tell me is Coleman a name in Mayo at all ?
Plenty of Coleman's around mid Mayo. Munley sounds like the north Mayo Munnelly surnane slso.

Real hatred there by MvG towards Klassen. Is it because of the lewd photos to the child issue?

I guess so, was supposed to be MVG girlfriend, now wife's, special needs sister? Must never have come to court.

Klaasen was sentenced to a 16-hour community service in 2012 and a fine of 400 euros for having sent a number of nude photos of himself to a minor girl. Van Gerwen revealed on Friday that the girl in question is his family.

"If someone sends something like that to my wife's sister, while she was fourteen and has a disability, you will break. I will never be able to give it a place and I will never forgive him," says Van Gerwen about Klaasen.

Eire Óg will regret them bad shot selections when had their dominant period in middle of 2nd half. When down 5-6 Boden's next 2 points were quality in such wet & heavy conditions.

Thought the Carlow boys had it harder to get ref decisions especially in 1st half.

Monaghan only has 29 clubs.  10 Senior, 10 Intermediate and 9 Junior with Scotstown also entering a junior team to make this up to 10 also. There does tend to be a trend of teams getting promoted one year but struggling to stay there the next.  Magheracloone had a rough year in 2018 and it resulted in relegation.  But they were always going to be too strong for intermediate and getting Tommy Freeman talked into coming back helped them too.  They were a good bit ahead of the rest.  Blackhill are a good junior outfit but like other clubs would find intermediate tough.  Emyvale won Junior in 2018 and finished 8th in intermediate narrowly avoiding the drop for next season.  Aughnamullen and Sean McDermotts were relegated to junior and should be strong there next year.
Only 1 club has more than one adult championship team in Monaghan or do they play junior B championship etc?
