Red Hughs play Dunedin Connolly's of Edinburgh who beat Neasden Gaels  yesterday who had Connaire Harrison playing for them. I was at the match, a brilliant second half of football and Connolly's will fancy their chances of progressing based on what I saw yesterday.

Dunedin would need to have improved since 2 years ago. Rock gave them a bit of a hammering then.

Fantastic performance and result tonight. Just hope it isn't one of those groups were 12 points doesn't even get you through.

Am I right in thinking the Div 2 playoffs will be:

Lough v Stewartstown (sneaked into 5th place on head to head with Augher)

Gortin v Dungannon

I'm assuming Lough and Gortin will have home advantage? Are these games down for this weekend?

none of the above teams would have a chance against Pomeroy. they would have a chance though against Aghyaran at a neutral venue.

Aghyaran have nobody to blame but themselves. Quit yer crying.

Who would have thought after the Cavanagh assault Moy would have been the team to get Barton across the line.  All they needed to do was a Killyclogher and gift the points in order to save Aghyaran.

it also turns out that us beating kildress ironically has saved Strabane given the brawl between the 2 teams in the championship.

Kildress are a fine club and have had plenty of great players down the years and it's sad that they are in this current predicament and I hope they stay out of Junior football fwiw. But from what I've heard there was definitely no agreement for them to get 2 points in that last game. They did have plenty of advantages though in that we were missing several regulars, they went 10 points ahead and the ref gave them loads of 50/50 decisions. We also had used our only 2 subs by the time we had a player black carded with no-one to replace him early in the 2nd half. They just simply couldn't finish the job off and it turns out the only team that Kildress have beaten since April in competitive football is Derrytresk (by 2 points). I think that tells its own story.

Is it true that 5-6 of the Omagh starting team should really be playing for Tattyreagh? Heard something about a row years back causing a split. Could be all BS.
