7 Eoin Doyle (Naas)
8 Hugh Lynch (Confey)
9 Pádraig O'Neill (St Laurence's)
10 Éamonn Callaghan (Naas)

13 Seánie Johnston (St Kevin's)
14 Tomás O'Connor (Clane)
15 Ronan Sweeney (Moorefield)

Great to see leper back but if that's the team that starts I'd expect a Tyrone win. The forward line lacks a bit of punch.

I heard Hurley and Cribben were called up to the senior squad which is positive too. We could really do with Hurley getting experience around the middle.

Hurley has all the talent and he looks like he's really knuckling down to it now which is great to see. Cribbin is the big plus point for Kildare tonight. There were rumours that he was struggling with injuries and he hadn't come home the same player who left two years ago but he dispelled those in style tonight. Maybe JTB might finally win the intermediate championship this year!

Kildare have unfinished business with Longford from 2010 but there's a lot of water gone under the bridge since then. Feely is unfortunately no longer available but Flynn and Brophy were not on that team and they're serious additions. A few more of that minor team didn't start that night due to injuries picked up during the epic trilogy of matches against Dublin if I remember correctly.

Flynn, Kelly, Brophy, Hyland are big additions.

Hurley and Cribben started on the line that day as they were carrying knocks iirc. They were thrown in at the end but it was too little too late.

I think if we can stop Longford from scoring goals we'll beat them.

For a county that not so long ago set the standard at underage that's some beating to ship. Kildare will be red hot favourites for the final now but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Longford caused another shock.

Longford won when these two sides met 3 years ago surely they must be favourites?  ;)

We need Myles over here to fill us in ;)

Need to keep an eye on this young Kelly lad, he's doing the business this year. Is Podge Fogarty making much head way this year? He destroyed us in the league final when he came on last year!

Podge scored 1-4 from play for the U21s against Meath a couple of weeks ago but he looks to be carrying a bit of weight. Will be interesting to see how he goes tomorrow night against Laois. He's a "natural" forward so to speak.  ;)

The match against Tyrone will be a close one if our U21s play, they've been driving the performances so far this year. If they don't I think Tyrone will win comfortably enough.
