Of course Kilkenny can't be called a bad GAA county.
I just meant it must be fierce disheartening for the lads on the team to be bet by that much and not to score at all.

Well done Kildare. Great win!
Poor oul Kilkenny.

Ah yea I suppose it is to some degree I just think it sounds gas issuing guidelines for what they should put on it. That thing on twitter is funny too.

I think this is gas. Already as players they have to monitor what they eat, drink, their fitness etc. They have to plan their holidays and things like weddings around the GAA calendar as well as spending so much time training and playing and now they're trying to get them to monitor what they can say on the likes of facebook too.

Enjoyed the match today. Good to see Kildare played a lot better than last week anyway. Midfield was better and hopefully Flynn'll stay there now. Dowling did well as did Foley and Morgan Flats. Can't wait for the championship! Up the Lilies!

Awful news. Absolutely gutted for him.
He's been such brilliant player for us down through the years, a pleasure to watch.
I know he's came through a lot of things over the years but he's in his 30's now and looking at another year on the sidelines with the knee so I wouldn't be surprised if he called it a day.

Hard to know what kind of team McGeeney will put out for this. He could try a few different lads who haven't seen much action this year yet cause chances are we won't be promoted anyway.

The backs are fairly settled I think. Connolly, McGrillen, Foley, McLoughlin, M O Flaherty, Bolton and White will be there for the championship I'd say. Daryl Flynn needs to be left in midfield. We've lots of options for forwards but badly need a settled midfield so constantly changing him in and out makes no sense to me. Rumour has it that Earley's done his knee again so finding a midfield partner for Flynn before the championship is going to be crucial. I think Lynch is the front runner for this. The forwards are wide open at the moment I think with none bar Doyle certain of their place so he might try a few different ones against Sligo to see how they get on like Fogarty, O Sullivan etc.

I won't panic if we don't beat Sligo but it would be good for the lads to get some confidence back before the championship!

Paddy Power have offered a 10,000 prize fund if the two of them agreed to have a proper boxing match.

There are some gas ones here. From a Kildare point of view the McGrillen and the Kelly ones were gas. Always thought Mark Scanlon had a look of Luke Donald too. Donie Shine and Johnny Sexton is probably my fav, though the first one of Mark Vaughan was funny too.

Fierce disappointing display from us yesterday. Tyrone are a great team but we just didn't show up at all.
Daryl Flynn should be left in the middle of the field and not switched into the forwards all the time.
Our chances of promotion are very slim now but I wouldn't be too bothered about that once we come right for the championship.

Cluxton's an idiot for hitting him. It doesn't matter what was going on between the 2 of them it's a charity match for god's sake.
