I would say the reason the fixtures haven't been published yet is that a number of clubs haven't paid their subscription to the players injury fund so will be forfeiting their matches if they haven't done so by Friday at noon  :-\

Odds for the senior, intermediate and junior championships

At first glance i would think that Carrickmore are a very big price at 5/1, they have been unstoppable in the league and have been putting up massive scores, they seem to have got the balance of youth and experience down to a tee. Younger members such as Caolan Daly and Benny Martin seem to flying, and in the form of Colm Mc Gurk, Conor Gormley and Mark Donnelly they have three of the most experienced and influential players within Tyrone. I would fully expect them to beat Errigal in the first round who have been poor in the championship over the last few years and don't seem to have enough quality inside forwards to win a championship. They also seem to rely heavily on Peter Harte every time i have seen them play. In terms of a dark horse value beat there isn't much value as the championship has 7 teams which on any given day could beat each other. But Clonoe and Omagh seem to be decent bets at 6/1. Clonoe after a couple of tame years with lads heading to america seem to have come back hungry and with Damien Cassidy at the helm again they will be well organised with the know how and experience to win a championship. This coupled with the fact that they owe Trillick one from 2009 where they beat them at Ballinamullan in the first round should see them progrees. Omagh who have had a patchy start to the season which was severely hampered with injuries have started to gain a bit of momentum towards the end of the break. Their young team will have learned with their lesson with a late defeat at the hands of Carrickmore last season, they have some quality footballers within their ranks and although they will not have it easy against Donaghmore i would expect them to progress and if they do they will be hard to beat.

Looking at the intermediate championship prices one that sticks out at me massively is Urney at 20/1. They seem to be going well enough in the league and were a whisker away from winning the championship last year. There have a couple of great players in the lafferty brothers and i would expect them to beat a hot and cold Pomeroy side in the first round comfortably enough. Also i would expect Galbally to have enough strength and quality to mount a serious challenge on the intermediate crown and at 5/1 they are a decent price. They seem to have gotten their act together recently in the league and won their last four games. They should canter past Strabane in the first round which should keep the momentum going and in my opinion see them contest at the very latter stages of the championship.

Having not watched much Junior football i could not speculate to much on the winner and potential dark horses. But an experienced Errigal thirds team who have now had a number of years to find their feet at this level and with a number of experienced players in Peter loughran and daisy mc dermott they should give it a good run at a decent price at 10/1. Although it is hard to look past a forceful killeshill who will be happy to win some silverware something which they have not done in a while IMO they are the best side in the division with the most quality and although they are a short price at 5/2 any team that beats them will have to be a very good one.

I would think that those odds were made before the league started.  I certainly don't think you would get Edendork or the Rock at 6-1 for Intermediate championship anymore

Doting father, brother, sister syndrome!
Incidentally does anyone know if any punishment handed out affects the mens club. There is a lad at work who is insisting that the whole club will be suspended. Right enough I dont know why I am listening to him, the person he told me who was responsible for assaulting the ref wasnt even in the country!

I couldn't see it affecting the mens club roddy as it would be dealt with by the ladies board which is separate still isn't it?  Report I heard was that ref made a bit of a meal of his "assault" but that the county chairman was hit an awful dirty dig as he tried to calm the situation.

facts of sendings off - standing on steps straight in front of it , kildress man clear punch to stomach after a tussle for ball- neutral umpire hand straight out and man sent off , second one clear punch agian off the ball- championship match will be another good game!

You must have some eyesight for the second one then if u seen it so clear saying as it was at the other end of the field off the ball and it was morerless dark by that stage!

No holidays for anyone in division two then.  The two week holiday period seems to have dissappeared according to website - surely this will not happen.  Next weeks fixtures could be interesting if Kildress, Edendork and the Rock all win on Sunday with Edendork hosting Kildress and the Rock hosting their old sparring partners Pomeroy.  The Tones have had 2 men lined due to double yellow cards this season rada btw

Edendork v Kildress changed from last day of the season - was hoping that could of been a league decider (no disrespect Rock/Clann).

surely these fixtures cant be right though.
they cant put in a holiday period at the beginning of the season and then just get rid of it at this stage!!!

I can't see it.  They will surely be changed closer to the time or there will  be a massive row

well as it stands there are div 2 games on 29th june, 3rd,6th & 9th of july, thats 4 games in 11 days!!!

This only effects Newtownstewart and Strabane who are the only teams playing on 3rd July - a refixture from a few weeks ago even though no-one else seems capable of getting matches postponed for any reason

Peace. Love. Tranquility.

Tyronehead, Moy were as much to blame as anyone on Sunday. In fairness I think it is obvious Tyronehead is not from Moy, and only on as a WUM. Dont take the bait lads. But at the end of the day the 2 points are all that matters in this crazy league. Cookstown put in a sterling effort and I was impressed with their appetite. They have now gone 5 opening games without any points, like a team from up that country did this time last year!

Radda, damn sure I hope we are not playing you/s next year as if we did that would mean we got relegated. Galbally, Aghyaran and Kildress all in the bottom elchons of the intermediate league-I did not forsee that!!!

On a separate note, making you/s play at the weekend was a disgrace.

I think we may have turned the corner but tonights result will show how far we've come, don't have a good record in the lough to say the least!

I assume ur referring to us being made to play Strabane a couple of weeks ago?  Was a joke alright but we've come to expect that sort of treatment from county board

On a totally unrelated matter were you aware that your favourite player marty flick - (or philly flick as u seem to like to call him sometimes for some unknown reason) is featuring in Cookstown Fr Rocks upcoming fight night, surely u'l be trying to get tickets for that!

:D You must have the same personality as your username. A ladyboy!!!
What happened did the big bad Kildress boys push you about?

Don't worry Torres, we all know that they like. But you are safer saying nothing, they get a little sensitive/upset when we mention their atrocious track record! A team does tend to get a little/narky/physical/dirty when they are over the hill.
l
you obsivously were,nt at the game but new devil with your username suits being assoiated with that bunch of thugs , their so called manager was no better either .
not worried now final whistle as were all safely home [ just about ] but i have heard all about this club/spokesman and they did,nt let anyone down but themselves . numpties the lot of them .

Just picking up on this point - Is this the Granemore Challenge game your on about? I wasn't at it but I was talking to a few of the boys after it and they didn't seem to say much or complain about dirt, only that Granemore finished with 14 men whilst the tones finished with 15. 2nd hand info as i'm sure will be pointed out but its the info I have.
What in particular annoyed you Torres?
our player retalited to persistant tripping from his marker who was just looking to start something and of course ref seen nothing until our player struck out then our other cf was struck from behind because his marker beleived he had taken out one of his teamates in the build up of play , there so called manager then began sustained mouthing at the injured victim of this cowardly assault when he had,nt commited any offence ,also  this thug stayed on the field and ref did,nt see it either  just felt there was no need for any of it as they showed  no respect or restraint on the field or the sidelines towards a team only looking to play a challenge game .

I've actually had to register on the board to get replying to your nonsense post torres!  I usually just spectate and have a good laugh at the posts, especially the jousting between final whistle and my own club mates. However boys like u really annoy me when they come on and try to tarnish our club with lies.  After your last post I seriopusly doubt if you were at the match.  I was as I was playing and the version of events u have outlined is so far from the truth as to be laughable.  Two of our players wer 'done' for want of a better term within the first minute of the match as Granmore seemed to want to make a statement, perhaps based on our previous reputation, that they were going to be physical.  The man that was sent off was then lined fairly early on not for retaliation as u have stated but for a ridiculously late knee to a man on the ground some 2 or 3 seconds after he had been taken out by another of ur players and a free awarded, right in front of the ref who had no choice but to line him.  The player fouled was a lad of 18 whos light oas a feather and has no dirt in him at all so ur claim of retaliation is a joke.  Your corner forward also got away with a few kicks which went unseen by the ref, i'm sure he got a bit of comeuppance for that but if u play with fire ur gona get burned as the saying goes.  I can assure u that that we played well within the rules, we may have played on the line  (and perhaps a few times on the wrong side of it) in the past but this was certainly not one of these occassions.  Maybe ur mates need to toughen up and if u were indeed at the match u need to get that overactive imagination of urs sorted, it could get u into trouble.  Perhaps a few sessions of counselling might sort it out
i,m sticking by what i said and i,ve talked to 4/5 of the lads playing including the injured player and they are all of the same opinion as myself .  you can say what you like which your entilted [ though no word of that so called scummy manager and his antics ] but the injured player did,nt resort to these tactics and why should he as he was skinning his marker everytime so he had to stop him the only why he knows by cowardly striking him from behind [ not seen by ref   ]. why would anyone need to toughen up at this stage of the season as it was only supposed to be a challenge . our challenges lie in the months ahead not in 60 mins in a bog under lights at the end of march . so you dont need to come on here re; tarnishing your club  . thats long tarnished  and will continue to be .  end off .

So you werent there then?  I dont think many people on the Tyrone board wouldappreciate you callling the man who played chb wen we won our first all ireland scummy and as for our pitch being a bog you obviously have never been to Kildress as we currently have one of the finest training pitches around as anyone who has been there will testify.  Way back till Granemore and quit yer crying.  Did any of you friends tell u the score?  THink it finished 1-10 to 0-4 so it looks like none of our defence got too bad a skinning
