HS is reporting that Anthony Cunningham former Galway hurling manager is the new coach with the Laois footballers.

Any confirmation on this.

If it's true

He or some other COACH should have been brought in before the league started,

In a nutshell, Laois are a mile behind again in tactical planning
YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN.

Quigley is the most over'rate player in laois, he has been big disappointment over the last numbers of years.

Reading what brian O'driscoll said on the paper today about coaching,
that's why i say it's very important to get a top coach on the management team with Lillis

Looking on at the current crop and the meticulous attention to detail instilled from Joe Schmidt and his management team, Ireland's record try scorer believes the team are reaping the rewards of astute coaching in every area.

"That's where coaching becomes such a huge aspect," he added.

"You can see what really good coaching is doing to this Ireland team

I heard Parkinson say on the radio during the week
that he will never support laois again, because of
Lillis becoming the new manager.
Some history between them.

Best of luck to mick, I just hope he bring in a top class coach as well
and i do believe that there is plenty of talent in the county
some fine big players from the minor and u21 teams this year.

It's not a manager we want,   It's a top class coach we need.

That's the place to watch it alright... Be warned though there's a right few Corkonians about and you'll have to listen to Mick Kinsella talking a load of nonsense throughout the game!
