several teams were refused from moving there game yet errigal to accomodate tv3 get their  game changed!. This even after mickey told county players no games were going to be changed. I think we need an independent body in to plan and make fixtures! Then we may get a bit of fairness

Some people just enjoy giving Harte abuse. The Killyclogher game was also moved to Friday night. I'm assuming Harte has something planned with the Tyrone team tomorrow so wanted 1 of the 2 weekend days free. Not that unreasonable 2 weeks before an Ulster final and the club games were all played with county players available. I'm assuming any teams could have arranged to moved games to Friday night.

I think that was a dig at the County Board more so than Harte but it seems to me to be a genuine point and a clear insult to clubs.  From my reading of it, Tyrone were training Thursday night and have an in-house game Monday night.  Clubs that wanted to change to Sunday were refused, so it seems that it is OK for Tyrone boys to play a game for their club on Friday night 24 hours after a Tyrone training session, yet it is not OK for them to play for their club on Sunday 24 hours before Tyrone training, what message does this set out to the clubs ???

This is an excellent point from one Mr 99.

I for one will be boycotting the Ulster Final this year due to the f**k about with club fixtures and the general treatment of club football in the county. Who's with me?

MR 99 has expressed a very valid concern of many club members and players.
Club football schedules have not been treated well though you are getting a bit hysterical there in boycotting the Ulster Final over it. It is a good day out in Clones and while I haven't been to the other Tyrone championship games this summer might take my children along as my club won't be playing that day.

Not sure if the club manager will let us attend a Tyrone match 21 days before our next fixture- 21 day rule you know.  :P

I'm sure many of club men have been frustrated with the on-goings. However what about the 'training panel' men. The likes of Michael Murphy, Galbally never even got a minute in the league but still misses the starred games for his club. It's hard to say no when the county come calling but I just can't see how they would be happy with that.

Any reports of Errigal Greencastle game. Teams, scorers and that.

The Real Laoislad its obvious these rumours have nothing to do with soccer (not football) but the fact the fact that Stevy G got to hold onto the England Captain armband amid these scandels which Terry lost it wouldnt bode well with some people.

Personally think Gerrard is on his way out of Liverpool anyway.

Any truth in the rumour that Mickey Harte doesnt want the county players, playing in the league fixtures this weekend and that some of the games could be postponed?

Heard this rumour as well.

Think people overlook Meath every year. Last year they made the All Ireland Semi Final yet going into this year they were seen as under-dogs in their own province. In terms of their attack they boast 4 star forwards who would be in with a shout with every county in the isle.
The movement and life in the full forward line seems to scare the b'jayus out of every full back line. Steven Bray has hit the form that torn apart Tyrone in 2007.

Louth are no pushovers either. JP Rooney will take a bit of marking. Cant seen White getting the same freedom as he has recently and will be targetted. All the attributes of a top game. Roll on 11th!

Reports are Ryan McMenamin has missed a couple of training sessions as of late.

Reading The Hobbit now at the moment. Almost finished. Good enough read not something I would usually go for considering it was written in 1937, which is evident from the writing style.

How do you 'let negativity into your life'? What does this mean? Sounds like a load of bollox to me.

I suppose that's me on cancer's to do list now....

Let us know how you get on ok?

Just a question has anyone on this internet forum ever contracted cancer? Couple of my relations have and gotten over it. In fairness they were pretty negative people before getting it and seemed more optimistic about life when they actually had it. They recovered which sort of makes me wonder about the whole negative/positive thinking thing.

We were having a conversation in our house last night about 'faith healers'. My Sister was walking her dog and stopped to talk to her friend who is a 'faith healer'. She asked my Sister did she suffer from stress and headaches as she could see the dog was obsorbing the pain!
She also claims people get diseases like cancer etc because they let negativity into their lives.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
