Can't imagine Kildare being over-whelming favs, maybe 4/5 or 5/4 (-1), will be a tight game.

Games are fixed for Saturday, very unfair on Monaghan.

And Sligo tbf

Monaghan were 5 points down with 22 mins left to play.

Sidebottom "The Gaa will be happy that Tyrone are lifting the cup as opposed to Monaghan as there's less likely to be a pitch invasion now"

What an utter c**t!!

Get to Clones around 9am You'll get into one of the pubs. Few Pints on board then over to the Paragon. It'll be some days craic if its Sunny, the atmosphere should be electric, it was in 2007, good banter with tthe Tyrone lads and all.

If Monaghan win, I don't know what will happen, really i don't but book off work till Wednesday or so at least

If Darren Hughes is called upon to stand in goals again he will not be found wanting in shot stopping or under the high ball. He is well experienced in goals and is the type of guy you could stick in anywhere, and he has the right kind of attitude for these big games.

I'm not saying he can't or won't make mistakes but saying he's totally untested is not true. I personally think that he is a future midfielder for us and is certainly our finest young player by quite a way. I also think that he is probably one of the best goalkeepers in the county anyway but i accept that he doesn't regularly do goals and as with anything this is a risk.

Come on Monaghan!! I'll be in Brefni on Sunday and i can't wait!!

Nobody hase chosen it to host a game. Monaghan were drawn "away" to Armagh and their semi has to be played in a neutral venue.

If Armagh had been sound about it and just played their game in Clones like they do every other year it would have been opened.

Plus the pitch has been redone, wont get a run out till the final now!

Well, I'll be supporting Monaghan when they're playing Tyrone in the final then!
Good stuff!

Just on a side note. The cops are involved here, its not up to the young lad in this case. A criminal investigation will now take place once this made the papers and radio etc.

There will then be the possibility of a civil case where he can choose to sue the lad who carried out this cowardly attack (and he should)

Hope for a full and speedy recovery.
