GAA Discussion / Re: Mayo V Kerry semi final

What about playing McGarrity as a sweeper in front of the full back line? Then the full back could do the defending and McGarrity contest the high balls in.
If Donaghy was then moved to midfield, McG could just follow hiim up.

Young Boy:     'Dad, is 'knickers' a curse'?

Dad:     'No, but tights are'.

Fair play to Ray, he has made the right decision for Ireland.
I hope has the courage of his convictions and carries through on his promise, unlike so many of the politians who have ran the country recently. (Into the Ground)

Thought Steve Staunton would be a shoe in for the job.

GAA Discussion / Re: Favourite GAA Pundit

There are only a few good football pundits. Mc Stay is good but his delivery is a bit irritating. John Maughan was a good pundit while he was at it.
Brolly is totally biased and comes across as a smarmy git, while O'Rourke is just boring.

The best by a mile is Anthony Tohill.
Cyrill Farrell is the best for hurling, if only for his wit alone.

Did you hear about the Kerry Magician?

He turned his tractor into a field. :)
