Sure we might be able to arrange a game later in the year, when we have a better idea of our fixtures in Boston.

We are planning to send an underage team to Ireland next year and are having a golf tournament, so if you know any golfers looking for a good day/ night out here are the details:

Hartford Youth Gaelic Football Golf Tournament
Date: Saturday May 22nd, 2010
Place:Tallwood Golf Club, Hebron CT.
Time:11:30 Lunch
12:30 Shotgun Start - Scramble Format
7pm Dinner (approx) At the Irish Club
Cost:$135.00 Entry Fee per player
Fee includes:18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, gift, on course
prizes, lunch, dinner and 2 hour open bar.
Sponsorships: Platinum: $1000.00 includes 4golfers and 2 Tee signs
Gold: $ 500.00 includes 2 golfers and 1 Tee sign
Silver: $ 100.00 includes 1 Tee Sign
Additional Sponsorships Available: Donations also accepted
Checks only-Made payable to Hartford Youth Gaelic Football(HYGF)

Good luck with that. I've a cousin originally from Lurgan teaching in Hartford University, but he couldnt kick snow of a ditch.

Sure if he is interested in keeping fit he can join us or send some of his students who want to try out something new down to us. We play Junior B in Boston so any ability level is welcome.

No plans currently in place for the tournament at senior level, we will be having an underage one.

We are workin on developing our underage structures so we have young fellows coming thro' to play with the senior team.

ON June 26th we have the Hartford Youth Gaelic Football 2nd Annual Pig Roast at the
Irish American Home Galstonbury with music by The Rising and the underage teams play Springfield.


We are always looking for new players for both the underage and especially the senior team so if you know of anyone looking to get/keep fit while playing some football in and around Hartford you can send them our way.

Anyone interested in playing some football over the summer in the Hartford area and beyond is welcome to come down to the Irish American Home, 132 Commerce St, Glastonbury, CT. and join the team.

The senior team play junior in Boston.
The underage teams play in the Northeast Divisional Youth Competition

Senior training: At the Irish American Home Society field Glastonbury, Ct.
On Tuesday nights from 6:00pm-8:00pm and on Thursday from 8:00pm-10:00pm.


The underage training is on Saturdays at 4pm also at the  Irish American Home Society field Glastonbury, Ct.

The age groups are U6, U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16.

All welcome experienced or novice.
